“Staff is so friendly and I'm glad they've re-adjusted their hours. The gym gets a little hot sometimes, and it's hard to workout. The gym could be a little bigger as well. Great services, love the ice rink and the pool is always clean.”

“This studio was a great gateway into Pilates for me. As a first-timer, I didn't really know what to expect but thought I'd give it a shot after a friend recommended it for me. This studio showed me that it's really different from yoga (a common misconception), and is mostly geared towards body repair and fitness longevity, so that I can do other sports with less issues moving forward. My body buzzes and my posture gets better with every session. I appreciated learning a groundwork in the private sessions first with Mary before joining in on group sessions with Jocelyn. Plus the space is beautiful and everyone there is nice & friendly.”

“Been apart of this gym since 2011! Cheering and dancing then became a coach in 2015! This gym has become my FAMILY! The atmosphere of 3TA is unmatched by any other gym in the capital region. 3TA cares about each individual that steps foot into their doors. They’re not just a number, they’re a person who we see as family that wants to improve their skills in the sport we all love. Highly recommend it here, I promise you won’t be disappointed!! 💙🧡”

“I am a member at Tribe Fitness and have been for about a year. Before I joined I was unable to get motivated and have a consistent work out routine. I still remember my first morning class I took. Everyone was so kind and encouraging. The encouragement and motivation is truly what continues to keep me going. It’s a gym for all women at all fitness levels. If you want a tight knit tribe that holds you accountable to achieve your goals, Tribe is definitely the place for you!”

“I loved coming here. Really friendly staff and instructors and a good place to learn if you’re a first timer. Had to take a little hiatus due to an injury but excited to be back once I can. Sierra’s classes were my go-to, but I landed in a couple others’ which were also great :)”

“It is an amazing stay for people that really just need a bed for the night in the middle of New York. We stayed for a week and first of all the location is unbeatable. Right next to central park and even in a 20 minutes walk distance to time square. I absolutely loved the immense gym. Alone for the gym I gotta give five stars. Be aware that the rooms are quite small and there is no fridge or anything like that. The public bathroom was fine.”

“Staten Island Muay Thai is a relatively new gym on the Muay Thai scene in New York City. The gym itself is located across the street from a gas station and some businesses which provides ample parking - plus if you run out of gas you can just push your car across the street! The interior of the gym is wide and spacious. The layout makes the facility seem very open. The high ceilings and the design helps as well. A row of heavy bags line one wall and pads are placed neatly on the other. There is a small ring in the corner. The men and women's bathroom are spacious so it's easy to change and there is enough storage for bags and what not along the wall. The owner Vinny Scotto, is an experienced name in the Muay Thai game. He originally started in San Shou, a stand up sport similar to Muay Thai but with more throws. Scotto has a long running podcast called The Striking Corner which has interviewed a host of names in the game including Michael Chase Corley, Janet Todd, Gaston Bolanos and others. He is an active member of the Muay Thai community and dedicated to the sport. The classes run an hour long and are well designed. After an initial warm up students will go through a basic partner drill. Partner drills are an excellent way to learn spacing, timing, technique and rhythm. The drills are done at low power and are a great way to learn for experienced or beginners. The second class will be pad work which follows the drill class is the same drills. Doing the pads let's you refine the technique and really develop power as well. If you can't do the pad class don't worry the next day the drill class is at the same time so it's easy to switch back and forth. Each week a theme is run so it could be evasions and counters, then the next week would be forward pressure, the third week elbows in the clinch etc. An advanced class follows. Staten Island Muay Thai has the beginnings of a good fight team with boxers on the local regional shows including the USMTO, TBA's and Triumph Kombat amongst other promotions. The sparring was light but technical and under the watchful eye of Scotto. This gym has a solid curriculum that builds students from the ground up. If you put in the time you'll get results. Overall a welcome newer addition to the Muay Thai scene in America. I think we can expect good things from Staten Island Muay Thai.”

“I have suffered from chronic back pain for four years now. When I began training with Staci, I had lost hope as all the workouts I tried caused me more pain. Staci and Lee are both very knowledgeable and compassionate trainers, and I have definitely gotten stronger working with them. I often feel they are as in tune with my body’s needs as I am. During the pandemic they have offered training from home and I have found it to be both beneficial and convenient. I am grateful I found them!”

“I fell in love with yoga last year and it's all thanks to Vibe Yoga Lab! Their classes are so much fun, a good work out and the perfect way to let your mind reset! I love the classes they hold all around town at different destinations! I can't wait for more outside yoga classes this summer!”

“I'm a powerlifter who took the family to Niagara for the weekend and had my lifting routine disrupted...only to find Riverview Fitness near our campground and a very, very kind/helpful staff person. Although I wouldn't deadlift there and there aren't strongman things, they had a perfectly adequate squat rack and an incredible view to boot (compared to my garage wall). When we go back to Niagara in future years, I'll plan on lifting here. Thank you, Riverview Fitness!”

“This is an excellent gym. What makes it so are the following elements: the friendliness and professionalism of the staff; the wide variety of exercise machines serving all different kinds of workouts; the cleanliness of the facility; and finally, the gym members themselves who are of all ages and extremely polite.”

“I love yoga with Beth! I am so motivated to join her as she is virtual but also live online. I can not get myself to do any recorded classes so I am so very grateful that Beth began her program. I live in Virginia and would be unable to go in person. This class is one of the few blessings that came from this pandemic. I feel so much more centered and focused for the week since participating in Beth's Gentle Yoga classes every weekend. It is challenging for the body and the mind, yet gentle. Every class is different and I feel more flexible, balanced, and stronger. She offers inspiring poetry and her beautiful singing voice as well. No one can see me, so I don't have to worry about what I look like, yet she builds a feeling of community at the same time! I highly recommend this class for all levels and all body types. Thank you, Beth, for your skill, warmth, kindness, and spirit.”

“I got a 1 week membership for $30 (I think) while I was on vacation in the area and I really appreciated the fantastic customer service and clean, spacious workout environment! Before I even arrived in the area, I called ahead to ask some questions about membership and gym details. I had a very informative conversation with Danny (who I also ended up seeing every day that I went to this gym while I was there) who is very friendly and knew the answers to all of my questions. On my first day going to the gym, Danny also helped me sign up and gave me a helpful tour of the gym. I found the gym to be clean and well maintained with various machines for cardio and strength training along with a good selection of free weights and cable machines. The locker rooms were fairly spacious for the number of people there and they appeared to be cleaned often. On the week of my going to this gym (7.1.21-7.9.21) masks were not required for fully vaccinated guests, but there did seem to be other COVID safety protocols in place. My only complaint would be that the music they play is not always great for working out, but who doesn't use headphones, anyway, right? Overall, I really enjoyed early mornings at this gym throughout the week! I went 6 times with my one week membership and felt that the cost was definitely worth it. Especially for a small town area, I was very impressed. I would definitely recommend this gym or buy another temporary membership next time I'm in town!”

“RAF is amazing! Both my son's have special needs and the trainers are very accommodating and help them tremendously. Especially Tyler. Tyler took the time to show my adult son with special needs how to wrap his boxing wraps as well as checking on him throughout the training. During the classes the trainers rotate and approach every member, including myself to help and guide them through the workouts. It feels as if you have a personal trainer. My younger son had to have a vocal surgery and is unable to speak for a few weeks. The trainers in the College/HS Sports performance understood, are very understanding and have continued to help with his training. The members are all so welcoming and kind. I am SO happy I FINALLY found a gym that cares for their clients and not the monetary aspect.”

“I am proud to say that I have been practicing with Bonnie on a weekly basis since 2014. She is a beautiful soul who has inspired me and helped strengthen my yoga practice. I love practicing outside on her beautiful yoga deck surrounded by her enchanted garden. I also enjoy practicing inside her home which is where you’ll find her very peaceful shala. I always feel more relaxed and centered when leaving her class. My son has attended class with me and my mother has also enjoyed her chair-yoga classes. Bonnie can teach all ages and levels. She is truly the best!”
