“Staff is very friendly. Place is definitely old, you can not access the second floor being that the floors are unsafe to walk on. Beautiful scenery in the back with a lake view. Plenty of seating. We have a 1 and a half year old, with problems (like all small children) falling asleep in different places, let alone at home. Staff was very poliet and reassuring to us that it was quite alright and not to worry. Located basically across the street from Lily Dale grounds. Small room, ours had no AC. Small bathroom but if your here your most likely going to be spending most of your time in Beautiful Lily Dale. One thing I will say is DO NOT PULL THE BLINDS UP! For some reason they do not come back down. We didn't see the sign that was on the dresser until after we already raised the blinds up a bit. Overall, it was pretty much what I pictured when booking the hotel. No real complaints.”

“1000% Recommend this campground. The sites are HUGE! We were in D1 which is an XL site and I swear you could put 2 full size units on that site. The internet is the best we have seen and we fulltime travel and work from the RV and had zero issues the whole week we stayed. We will definitely be back!”

“Great visit. I was a camper there for two weeks from 1975-1981. I am an Alumni. Most favorite day at camp was Sunshine Day. I was the one who sang Shop Around there and everybody loved it!!! For most kids who went to or go to camp, it's Home Away From Home. One of the best camps I went to, I loved it best!”

“If I could give this place a million stars, I would. The business was closed because Google hadn't updated the hours yet. However, seeing my husband and I were clearly not from NY, Eric opened the door to chat with us. He ended up opening the building, setting up at table with chairs, turned on lights and music, and gave us one of the best experiences we had ever had. We go to many winery's all over and this one was by far one of the best. Hands down 10/10!!!! Can't wait to go back!”

“Checking in at the Morgan State House was quick and easy, very polite host, he did not introduce himself though and I forgot to ask. He was wearing a mask every time I saw him so very conscientious about keeping his guests safe. We stayed in a suite two doors down from The Brownstone. Classy period Decor, very clean, great water pressure which sometimes is questionable in these old buildings. Loved the soft sheets, all of our furniture was very comfortable. Great location also! Walking distance to so many things and right across the street from the park which is absolutely beautiful.”

“Stayed here after getting stuck in the snow storm Sunday night, the man at front desk was very nice and accommodating. The inn it’s self is beautiful and very retro whereas the room where we slept was a bit outdated but still better than other places where we’ve payed more. Love that they have both a fridge and microwave in the room as well. Just wish they had a TV guide and better soap. Above all 5 stars for great customer service.”

“Wow. Such a beautiful place. Absolutely stunning. We bought the lift tickets online which were priced well ($20 each). The ride was amazing, the views to die for. You can see for miles and all the different colors. There were a lot ofblittle shops/vendors set up so you can buy different things, food trucks. 😋 so good. Beer. Restrooms available. Dog friendly.”

“Clean, quiet, and well maintained inside the rooms. The staff is super-friendly and even mailed me something important that I accidentally left behind after I contacted them. They are very close to the brand new section of Empire State Trail, so I stopped there on a bicycle tour. I strongly recommend them as a lower-priced, family run alternative to some of the chain hotels/motels around the area there. And good recommendations for food nearby from the front desk. Thanks a bunch!”

“Cannot say enough good things about this place. What a sweet gem of a bed and breakfast. The entire place was cozy, welcoming and sparkling clean. Our bedroom was so sweet and full of personal touches that make your stay all the better. The yard and garden are absolutely beautiful as well. Brittany makes sure you have everything you need and you can tell that she truly cares about all of her guests. The breakfast and coffee that we had in the morning was delicious as well. Highly, highly recommend!”

“Great location to visit Niagara, lake views from the family room are spectacular and the beach below is great for swimming and looking for fossils. House is fabulous, 3 lovely bedrooms and a comfy sleep sofa, full internet and big TV, well equipped kitchen and ac in some of the rooms. “It is an amazing stay for people that really just need a bed for the night in the middle of New York. We stayed for a week and first of all the location is unbeatable. Right next to central park and even in a 20 minutes walk distance to time square. I absolutely loved the immense gym. Alone for the gym I gotta give five stars. Be aware that the rooms are quite small and there is no fridge or anything like that. The public bathroom was fine.”

“I've never had an issue while staying at this motel. The rooms are kinda small, but for the price, you really can't go wrong. Centrally located. Plenty of places to eat or shop right down the road. Clean.”

“Found this great little campground outside of Saratoga Springs!!! So cute and QUIET!!! Loved it!! Wished I had known there was so much to do in the area, we would have stayed longer!! We'll definitely be back!!! The park was so clean and well kept up. I didn't use the bathrooms but checked them out anyway. They were SPOTLESS!!! With coin operated shower stalls which were very clean and laundry facilities that were also!! They had a pool, too!! With a big rig, it was a little tight driving through, but I'll do it again when I come back through the area!! I LOVED this park!!”

“Are things over priced on the shelves? Of course. It is a general store at a campground and an amusement park. But, the staff is super friendly and helpful and we had a very good experience the several nights we stayed at the campground. Very convenient if you are camping and don't want to leave because you have forgotten something. Also the deli is a pretty decent value and the one surprise price wise in the store.”

“Known as a fisherman's paradise, Black Lake is a favorite for anglers. The cottages at McClears are clean and spacious and the owners are friendly and helpful. You will need areservation im advance for a cottage, but the campgrounds and camping cabins usually have a free space. I have been coming here for 25 years and even though I have tried other places on the lake, this is my favorite. It has easy access to the best fishing, the boats work great and it is always a wonderful adventure!”

“I rented an RV space for 3 nights for my niece and 3 kids who were on a road trip passing through my area. I toured the campground before booking and couldn't believe how cool and innovative some of the rental options were, all tucked away in a pleasant wooded area. Ours had a little deck right off the camper with benches and lighting for a private outdoor sitting area. Others options were way more elaborate. My niece and her kids LOVED it! The kids had a big playground space, and there was also an indoor "gaming" area that was great for rainy day activities. Bathrooms and showers were close by and very well maintained and clean. Everyone we encountered there were super friendly and helpful. Great experience all around!”

“I recently went with my partner, it was my first time at a nudist campground and being nude in public. I felt very comfortable and everyone was friendly. We just visited for a few hours. Enjoyed cooling off in the pool and lounging around it. Walked down to the small pond with a field next to it, very pretty and quiet. Lots of active frogs to watch/listen to. Liked the open shower room. Didn't spend time indoors but there is an indoor seating area with tables. We do plan to visit again this summer for the day. Scenic drive and area as well.”

“What a great tour! The views of the various landmarks were as promised on the packages. This tour was incredible and they were a wealth of knowledge and very entertaining. His use of public transit was masterful. The breaks were timed for the best restaurants and coffee shops in town. Anemos Tours was great.”

“This is a nice change up from the routine chain motel. A key word to keep in mind is, "historic." The exterior and lobby could use a little more restoration but the room was in great condition, clean and recently painted. Just don't expect a mini fridge or microwave and you won't disappointed. No free breakfast but breakfast available in dining room on Saturday and Sunday. Food was excellent and moderately priced. Service was beyond outstanding.”

“With it's spa like atmosphere it was difficult to leave this peaceful oasis during my visit to Lily Dale. My room, which was bright, clean, and well appointed, provided a cool, tranquil space to relax between events. The bed was dressed with luxurious fresh, clean, white linens, fluffy pillows and I was provided with a couple of sets of towels with optional daily clean service. The modern bathroom was quite spacious and kept in immaculate condition for the duration of my stay. The common areas inside and out provided ample space to lounge, connect with other guests and enjoy some fresh brewed coffee while planning the day's adventures. Our gracious hosts Frances and Stephen took great care to ensure that all their guests needs were met, maintaining open lines of communication, and keeping the mask friendly space safe for all visitors. It is clear that Frances and Stephen take great pride in The Amber Tree Inn, making it a must-stay location in Lily Dale.”
