“Chris and the family at New Forest Valet have been a neighborhood cornerstone for as long as I can remember. They are ALWAYS friendly and the service is wonderful. They treat you like family. I know COVID has been hard on neighborhood dry cleaners, so I wanted to give them some more of my business. I had an old tattered winter dress coat that was in bad shape, but still beloved. I took it to Chris wondering if the liner could be sewed up. Way past gone, they replaced the entire liner and did an unbelievable job on that and cleaning. WOW. Quality work with quality material. Looked like a new coat! Did you know there is no sales tax on dry cleaning services? So I saved a ton of money in sales tax through taking it to them verses if I had instead bought a new coat. Win-win: great service, no taxes, and supporting our neighborhood small family business. As we all continue to sort through our closets, please consider bringing anything you need repaired or cleaned to Chris and New Forest Valet.”

“I am writing this review on 1/6/2022 I had this company clean my septic tank about 5 years ago and they did an excellent job and at a reasonable price . I was very pleased. Today, Tim came out and replaced the wax seal and secured the toilet to the floor. He was very nice and professional and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. “I have gone here twice (and about to go a third) once for a dryer and once for a gas oven. They are helpful extremely helpful and do not try to sell you parts you do not need. In fact for my dryer repair I insisted on both parts just in case even though he insisted it was just a fuse that was just a few bucks and not the $50+ no returnable part. Well my brother was coming to do the fix for me and the place was going to be closed and I figured it was better to be safe then sorry we’ll guess what. It was the $4 fuse. Listen to them. They know their stuff. Went back to figure out what was wrong with my oven and they walked me through a cheap repair because of it wasn’t that I was going to need a new oven but they wanted to try that repair first. It’s very refreshing to have this type of honesty and also quite sad that it so rare (this is coming from someone who comes from a family full of mechanics that has sadly had to deal with too many dishonest auto shops)”
