Great docs who got me in without delay, so no waiting while my problem got worse. Also the only perio group I could find that's open on Fridays

I want to thank Dr. Valentine for his expertise and care of me in a surgery to remove an implant that was placed 1 and a half years back, in perpetration for a full set of teeth. 12 implants one failed, not bad. The implant became infected, and no amount of antibiotics would clear up the infection. The infection was bad, I knew I was in serious trouble. Headaches and severe pain in the side of my head. After Dr. Valintine removed the implant, cleaned out the infection area, put bone graphs in place of the site. Within 2 weeks I totally healed. And within one day no more pain or headaches. I am truly grateful, and very blessed. If anyone out there needs a Periodontist with the mastery of his profession, the hands of an artist, and temperament of a caring Doctor, I recommend him with a 10 plus rating. Dr. Valentine has an assistant her name is Diamond; she is on her game and a upcoming rock star in the profession, very much in tuned to the needs of Dr. Valintine during surgery. I have been going through periodontal disease for over 15 years with many specialists. Thank you so very Much Dr. Valentine, you saved my life.
I would like to take this opportunity to make a very special shout out to Dr. Hoda Bassiri at Fusion Dental, she also has the mastery of her profession, hands and heart of an angel. She has started me on this path to smile again and regain a self confidence that was diminishing along with this disease. Call her ask her for my pictures of her amazing work.

I can't add much to what the other reviewers have said, but I too had a really exceptional experience here. I had what is probably a minor procedure to them, but it was a big scary thing to me, and everyone there made me feel as comfortable as possible. Dr. Valentine explained everything in detail, and was very professional and competent. All of the staff was kind and personable, and it's a very clean, and pleasant atmosphere and they seem to really know how to put very anxious people at ease. If you have to have this type of work done, this is a good place to do it. They even checked on me the next day.

First impressions are very important, so far, my experience with staff, Caitlin, Kiara, and Jamie was a pleasant one, they were professional and nice. For initial assessment, Dr. Valentin was very detailed explaining treatment and showed a video of the procedure. No complaints.

As always, my experience with Tar Heel Periodontics was amazing. From the ladies in the front desk to the medical staff, they couldn't have been nicer or more professional.

I have major gum surgery, cleanings, etc. done in this office and I have to say that it was a very easy and painless process, considering the circumstances.

Special thanks in this last visit to Dr. Stella, and of course to Callie, who does everything possible to make the visit comfortable.
