“Great place to spend the day with your family. Just remembered to bring sunscreen and bug spray. Also watch out for Bee's, Snakes and all other wild life things. My kids love the boats you can rent and the fishing day passes. Not that expensive for the rentals and they let you use their life jackets. Lots of fun.”

“This park is great! We drove all the way from north Charlotte. The wooden playground is huge and the entrance to it is a castle which the kids loved. There are great walking trails too. The grounds are very well kept. Definitely will return again and again.”

“Clean small park. Perfect for basketball or small kids play. The playing area is ideal for children 3-12 in my opinion. They also have baseball area and a jogging trail. Very relaxing. The only thing missing is a bathroom.”

“An excellent dog park with plenty of good people and good dogs. They get a chance to play and the humans can socialize. The parking lot is a short walk to the dog park. Lots of space for the dogs to run around. It's second into under 25 pounds and over 25 pounds. Open every day from 7AM to sunset.”

“Great park for all of your biking needs! From easy to a bit more technical this park has them all! Even have a fun pump track, not so mountain bike friendly, especially my fat bike, but still a lot of fun! If you want to go somewhere and get several different types of rides in in one day, this is a great place to go!!”

“Going from NY it wasn't much of a surprise to see the lights and decorated houses but it was a fun time to be with family. Be prepared to be waiting in traffic to enter this town for at least 1 hour and half, cars move really slow and stop frequently to take pictures. The ideal would be to walk through the streets of the town but I don't really know how easy would it be to find parking close to the attractions.”

“Great place to escape the city only 25 minutes from Uptown Charlotte. Hiking and Biking trails. River access is very nice to put canoes and kayaks in and out of river. It is a good hike to river, better put in than take out, as itvis downhill all the way to river. 1.5 mile downstream from park, there is McAdenville Dam. Dam is just downstream, below McAdenville access, Portage across river on river left. Stay away from dam. Take out on river right just past interstate bridge is a great option instead of portaging. If you portage, next access is Goat Island Park in Cramerton.”
