Very nice variety of trails and the staff at the main building was friendly and knowledgeable. Enjoyed walking the trails and then sitting in the rocking chairs and watching the birds enjoy the plethora of feeders.
Nice trail system, well marked. Not too strenuous but good exercise. Good scenery of the lake.
Beautiful trail, not difficult at all! If you're lucky, you'll seem some really cool wildlife!
I found the walk pleasant. There is plenty of nature to see and it looks as if someone has been working to keep the trails clean. I will definitely go again. If it were not for the racial slur uttered by one of the passers by it would have been a perfect walk on the trail. Welcome to America people.
Update: after more than 12 recent visits back to the trail I have only had smiles and waves from others on the trail. I continue to be surprised at how well kept the trail is. I know it must be quite a task keeping it that way. For what it’s worth. Good job High Point NC.
This is one of the hidden gems of the Greensboro-High Point metro area. Once you're on those trails, it feels like you could be in the Uwharries or even somewhere off the Blue Ridge Parkway. I got out of the habit of running these trails for a couple of years and I'm very glad I've started doing so again. Plus, the trails are never too crowded and I've only ever met friendly people. It's just a great place!
