“Loved this place. Fine chopped pork bbq plate. Hush puppies were the best I’ve ever had - I’m not alone, voted best in NC. Sauce was vinegar based - I had the spicy - delicious. Pinto beans with raw onions were awesome. Finished it off with vanilla pudding. They don’t have a website - so you have to just go in. Totally worth it!”

“This place is a great find. Our waitress Ellie suggested the dish called “Polliyo” when I asked about getting some peppers added to ACP. WOW it was incredible! The dish also had zucchini and it was super yummy. The owner was so kind and told us that most of the dishes are named for good friends (some who have passed away) and it was very sweet to see him smile in remembrance of his friends. Top notch place, food and people. ☺️”

“Service employee was knowledgeable,did good clean work. I would recommend them to anyone . Hot water tank started leaking Sat afternoon, and they were here between 11 and 11:30 Sunday morning. Got tank out that day and brought new tank back on Monday and installed. Was satisfied with service employee and helpers work. You do need to have a place on the receipt for person that is receiving the payment to sign that he or she has taken your payment for services. His work was very good.”

“Everything was very well organized and there was quite the selection! Overall a great store if your looking to buy appliances kitchenware or electronics used and at an affordable price. I wouldn't recommend going if you are scared of bears as far as I could see there wasn't any bears but who knows what could be in the employees only section. Theres room back there to house and feed at least 4 or 5 adult black or brown bears and if they turn the AC up they may even be able to keep a polar bear or two back there. Also the bathrooms were clean!”
