I needed a church home that was bible centered, cerebrally stimulating and lovingly inclusive with excellent role models for my 4 children. We finally attended a Sunday morning service. We were absolutely astounded to find all of those attributes in a balanced, easily understood presentation of God’s love and principles by the pastor. Dr. Morris, a “county boy” from the mountains of NC with a thirst for education resulting in both Masters and PhD is the pastor. Still, he is the most practical teacher of biblical challenges, encouraging us to learn and grow in our relationship both with God and Jesus, and our sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. Dr. Morris translates this into our modern daily life so you understand well how God’s word is our ultimate source for living. We began attending regularly and were welcomed by the wonderful church family, acceptabling of the responsibilities to support, pray for and love each other as God’s word commands us. I have seen repeatedly how they graciously welcome anyone. I am so thankful for a church, pastors and Sunday school teachers that exalt God. Thankful for a congregation lead by an exceptionally talented music and praise ministry leading us to worship God as He so richly deserves. Yes, I and my family are so blessed, strengthened and challenged by making this our church home.”
