“I had my 2nd child here. Their labor and delivery is excellent. All the doctors and nurses are wonderful. Especially Helen! She was my nurse during labor and delivery and she is the best nurse! If you are lucky to have her as your nurse, you won't be disappointed. She is the sweetest and most caring nurse. She made my day go so smooth and went above and beyond to make me comfortable. I was there a couple more days than normal because I had gestational diabetes. The care I received from everyone for myself and my son was such a great experience. I highly recommend having your baby here.”

“I just want to say Kindred Hospital is the BEST. My mother has been at Kindred for 5 months and they are doing a fantastic job. My mother is is the glue to our family so to have her away from us is very hard. Kindred makes sure we videochat her the make sure she is comfortable and they treat her like she is family. “When I found out my household had lice I was stressed and freaking out. I went in a Mel took care of us. She was very knowledgeable about lice and their habits. She offered pleasent conversation and assured we would not be back and that we were lice Free. Walking out of there I felt a sense of relief and Mel made my bad day better and kept me happy even while I was freaking out in the chair. Let's just say it was worth going in and just spending the money rather then trying to do it myself.”

“Honestly disappointed in how people interpret things and then post about it negatively reflecting on the Dr. and his staff. I have been seeing Dr. A. for several years now and yes, you may have to wait to be seen but maybe it’s bc he is listening to someone else just as you expect to be listened to when it’s your turn. Are you thinking about the person with the appointment after you that is having to wait longer bc you’re taking an extra 6 minutes? And then the domino affect kicks in. Dr. A has literally lived through hell and he still wakes up everyday and does his job trying to help us. No he will not sugar coat just to give you warm and fuzzies. He is real, he is kind and he is honest and in todays world that’s a rarity. And whoever said his front desk staff is rude, surely did something to deserve it bc Margie and Lori are FANTASTIC! This office is not a perfect one but they deserve more respect than what they’ve received on here for sure!”

“We were referred to Veritas after we were put on a wait list at Duke's Eating Disorders program. As parents of a child newly diagnosed with an eating disorder, we didn't know what to expect, and had a lot of anxiety about how treatment would unfold. But from the moment we walked in the door at Veritas, we felt that we were in excellent hands. Our daughter was placed in the residential program at Veritas and then when she was ready, transitioned to the day hospital program. Every step of the way, our child was cared for with kindness and professionalism. The facilities were beautiful and well maintained. It felt more like a nice dorm than a hospital. The team used state of the art therapies to treat the patients and it was extremely effective. Our whole family was treated with care and respect. The therapists, dieticians, medical providers and therapeutic assistants were all so professional and kind. It is hard for me to believe that only two months later we are so far along on the recovery journey. I don't know where we would have been without Veritas. If you are a parent seeking care for your child with an eating disorder, I can't imagine a place better than Veritas. I'm sure there are some unhappy employees who have left Veritas and written negative reviews, but the employees I met were without exception professional and seemed deeply committed to caring for their patients. And almost all of the other parents who were there with us, (and we spent a lot of time with the other parents) expressed strong positive feelings about Veritas. Many of them had been treated other places previously and thought Veritas was by far a superior experience. Honestly, I feel they saved our child's life and helped get our family back on track. I'm so grateful to Veritas.”

“Without putting my daughter's personal details on this review it will be difficult to explain why I feel the way that I feel about this facility. Other parents reading this just remember that I have very good reasons for my goals and concerns for her well being. Let me start by saying that she was definitely there after an IVC order and this was not our first rodeo. With new doctors I don't usually expect instant or lasting results and sometimes a new doctor can make things worse because they aren't familiar with the details of her history that make her unique. Strategic gave her real care that was incredibly appropriate and specific to her. Last night an emergency concern came up and it was addressed incredibly quickly with a common sense solution that amazed me. I am writing this review because a lot of places have a cookie cutter response to mental health but that doesn't work in an industry that handles kids that are already out of the mold to be there in the first place. Strategic is amazing for being able to effectively even treat her when a lot of things that help other kids tend to cause her to escalate. As a parent I also appreciate that even though I don't claim to be an expert in child psych I do know everything about my kid and they listened to it all. Every opinion I have on her they let me tell them and also let me tell them why I formed that opinion. This place absolutely focuses on real behavioral improvement and I honestly read these reviews and all I see is that the former patients obviously didn't kill themselves and must show improvement seeing that they are no longer institutionalized and have the freedom to use the internet. If we ever go through this process again I will absolutely cross my fingers for this placement again.”
