“Been here for a couple of weeks while searching for an apartment and my stay has been great! The staff have been amazing and so kind, especially about extending my time, food, cleaning, and questions. Everyone at the front desk is so understanding and friendly! The room is comfortable and just enough space that I do not feel too crowded or overwhelmed. I love that it has a great size fridge, updated stove, and tons of pots, pans, silverware, and other kitchen items. Literally anything that you can think of is in the kitchen. If not, the staff is happy to help. Also, I love that there is breakfast every morning to get you started. The rooms do need a little bit of TLC with the floor being uneven in some parts, the same with the tub, and paint needed on doors and the walls. Overall I have really enjoyed my stay and will be sad to leave in a week.”

They very kindly showed us the farm animals and you can buy 50 cents farm animal snacks and feed farm animals! The lavender harvest with $5 jar was very fun too! “We've camped in 4 of the 5 available campsites at Fanny's Ford Campground over the last couple of years. With a short mile hike from the parking, this is a great place for a quick overnight or get-a-way that offers some beautiful scenery and great local hiking. Each primitive campsite has a tent pad and a separate fire pit pad that includes a bench and a fire ring with grate. There is a hanging pole located at each site. The attached map shows the correct location for the pit toilet (red outline is the new/correct location), which approx. 15 yards from site 1. There is a wood bin near the pit toilet and the park typically leaves a small bundle of wood for each site, which is really nice when there is cooler weather. If you have the choice, I recommend staying in sites 2, 4 or 5. These offer the best separation from the other campsites. Campsites 1 and 3 are too close together IMO; however, would be good options if you had a small group wanting to camp together using both sites. Reservations can be made online via the Eno River State Park site making it easy to check availability and which site you want. Highly recommended for some great local camping.”

“I've been traveling on a motorcycle for a week & this holiday inn kearnysville had been hands down the best thus far, cheapest 👍, best breakfast ( everyone else had bag breakfast 😱. Very clean comfortable beds. They ask us to please park our motorcycles by the door so they could watch them🤯. Highly recommend if your needing a place to lay your head in the area!!!”

“As yummy as I remember it when it was still Harpoon Louie's. Casual hole in the wall. Great outdoor seating by the water when the weather is nice. Love the blackened fish sandwich with the vegetable medley. My husband loves the Carl's way wings. The kids menu is also fun with menu items named after typical responses that you hear from kids, "I'm not hungry", "I don't know", "Blank Stare" ...? All in all a great place to grab a drink at the bar or have a meal with the family.”

“More like a residential neighborhood than your typical rv park. Very quiet, no barking dogs, large spacious lots, area clean and well kept. Location is perfect for shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. The manager is very nice and makes sure that the tenants are doing well. There is limited onsite minor repairs available. The downside is there are almost no amenities here. Only one washer and dryer at the office, no propane, no camp store or pool. Nothing for kids.”

“I was eating across the street at Showmars and got a notice from my car that my key fob had a low battery. I drove over to Advance Auto Parts, I tend to always go to them anyways and always had a good experience, especially at this location. I walked in and was immediately helped by a nice young man named Rick. He intuitively looked at my hand and already knew what I needed without me even speaking. I handed him my fob, he took it apart, identified the battery, went and got a new one, installed it and told me to try it out, it worked flawlessly. He then checked me out immediately and I was on my way. All of this service for only $6.42... Thanks for serving your customers with intelligence, quick service and care. I will always be back. Rick should be the poster child for Advance Auto Parts. ?”

“Pleasant and accommodating staff, with slightly dated rooms that could use some TLC. Overall a clean and pleasant experience, with a few bumps. We found ourselves in need of last minute lodging with early check in availability; the staff worked their hardest to accommodate us!! The first room we were given the air-conditioning was broken and the in room phone did not work, they quickly and happily changed our room. The second room the door did not latch correctly so the door was not secure unless using the dead bolt, they sent a maintenance man right away to handle the problem. The mattress was extremely comfortable, linens and towels fresh and clean, and overall the rooms were clean. Despite the bumps along the way we would stay here again if in the area.”
