“Best DAMN BBQ in NC! I travel extensively for work. I was in a restaurant in Reading PA and started a conversation. He was telling me about Steak sandwiches in Philly. My NC rebuttal was our BBQ. I told him Off the bone BBQ should be on every human beings bucket list. We’re blessed and have a get away place on Hyco lake. Passed by, hungry, stopped. Addiction at first bite. The ownership are fantastic. They do BBQ the way it’s been done for the last 150 years. You can’t get better BBQ, perfection is hard to beat. Be warned they usually sell out most Saturdays especially in the warm days of summer. Second warning you will become an addict after second bite. You can’t pay people enough to post a review like this. Who would think in a town with a Dollar General being the finest shopping would have a road side to go BBQ restaurant like this.”

“Our current favorite place for brunch! Love their Bloody Mary bar and the fish and chips are the best! The batter is light and crunchy and the fish is always perfectly cooked! The corned beef and cabbage is pretty good. The French onion soup is reliably delicious and their brunch fare is impressive. “What a unique find! We needed to spend a few days in Benson North Carolina and asked the young lady at the hotel where a good place to eat close by would be. She recommended this restaurant and I’m so glad she did! It started with chips and salsa. The salsa flavor was spot on and the chips were crunchy and still warm. I asked the waitress what I should order and she recommended La fiesta special. It was chicken, fresh mushrooms, fresh zucchini, onion, and green pepper cooked in what taste like a fajita type of seasoning served over a cheesy seasoned rice. It was delicious! They were also warm tortillas for eating with it but I could not find room. Another person in my party got fried chicken chimichangas and the chicken was very flavorful. The wait stuff was great! We arrived at 7:15 and I was afraid it would be too late and they would close soon. We were one of four tables and it was pretty quiet. By 745 the place was packed and there was a line out the door. On a Monday night! They handled it well thank got everybody in and see it as quickly as possible. All the food that went by look delicious and while we were there I never saw anybody returned their food or complain that it wasn’t exactly what they wanted. It was a really nice atmosphere and really great food. If you’re ever in Benson make it a point to stop by! Definitely recommend! Easy on and off I95!”

“First office is probably gonna be a bit of an odd review. I ordered my mobile order and got there And 20 minutes later fearing that my drinks would be cold. However, they had not even started. They were extraordinarily busy and understaffed for this moment. However it was an unbelievably pleasant atmosphere and it all started with one of their employees named Sarah. She was just awesome every time she finished order she called out the name, made eye contact, and talk to them for a second while she made another drink. This was so far out of the norm for my Starbucks experiences that I just noted how all of the people in the place were telling her that she was doing a good job and they appreciated her working hard because she was so friendly and full of common sense. Do you often walk in a Starbucks and they’re behind and they don’t want to make rude contact and they don’t want to talk to anyone but she made every single person feel human as she produced the orders. They also had another person who came in and said, hey you look like you’ve been waiting a long time what’s your name again let me check on your order. The biggest thing I wanna say is that this place must have an incredible manager. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was Sarah. But this might be my best Starbucks experience ever and I had to wait 10 minutes to get my food after placing mobile order. I would also say that Sarah had an affect on the guests. They were talking and interacting in a positive way. Just phenomenal. If Sarah ever need a job, contact me!”

Price: cannot find fast food that good, that cheap! Wait time: is a hit miss. First time, Sunday, it was fast. Yesterday, 6:45 pm, the place was packed! Both lanes, 15 min wait was reasonable. I ordered the big burger (is like the Large version) and yet I got the small bun. Twice I ordered soda and 3/4 is crushed ice, yesterday I asked for lite ice and still got 3/4 cup with crushed ice. The first time the fries were fresh and crispy, yesterday….soft and cold. The selection is amazing, so are the sides. I think yesterday they were way too busy and missed the mark but I recommend the place! Oh and Best meat so far! You can taste the freshness ❤️!”

“We are so glad to have had Persis cater our wedding events. The food was so delicious! Half of our guests were from out of town, mostly the Northeast/New Jersey area, and so many of our guests told us this was the best wedding food they'd ever tasted. The live dosa station was a hit and the chef even helped recreate dishes native to our area of India, including a jackfruit curry.
