“We were planning to replace all of our carpet in our house, but have not had a very good experience with Lowes/Legacy so far. While we still hope to replace the carpet someday, we wanted to fix the few chewed spots on our stairs from when our dogs were puppies and spots where our carpet receded at the threshold in our master bedroom. We cleared the game (linen) closet upstairs and Mr. Wooden cut carpet from the back of that to fix/match. He brought similar scrap rolls of carpet to replace the spot in the back of the closet that he cut/used for the repairs. He couldn't stretch the carpet like we thought in the Master Bedroom because we are on a concrete slab so nothing to grip to, but that's ok. He did wonderful work in less than 30 minutes. Price was very fair! Best $200 spent and $50 of that was because he drove 60+ miles to us in Wayne County. Called on a Friday and he called back that afternoon to schedule for that Sunday morning. Very pleased and would definitely use again if we have any future carpet repairs! Thanks Mr. Wooten!”

“Update: over the years, my wife has had more positive moments here. We only purchased other products (other than furniture) and have been overall satisfied. Old review: I've given this place a try a few times. Nothing is really worth it. When we did buy furniture there, even at 50% off their normal prices (still pretty high) and then came to find out the drawers in the dresser didn't really work right after about a week. When we tried to donate there, none of our stuff was "good enough" (surprising considering the junk they sell). Then we started going to Snapdragon and down to Angier for their thrift shops. We won't be going back to Guardian Angel, there are too many other better thrift stores, not to mention yard sales and craigslist.”

“They work hard to get your business! I bought my tow dolly recently. A part was missing and because I have 2 addresses in different states, they sent one part to each location. They've quickly answered all my questions. It was a bit more cumbersome to get my Prius V to match up to the dolly and I thought I was missing some parts, but wasn't. They were so quick to offer to send the parts, I had to quickly tell them it was my bad. The instruction video is very helpful and if you don't pay attention you go through straps quickly. I would recommend buying the wrench from them as it is longer than others and even indicates which side to use for tightening. Other accessories are not cheaply made so you get your money's worth. The dolly is very well made. I would recommend this company for these reasons and more. Thanks!”

“I was actually with a group who did not bring kids. My friends and I just hung out and designed funny shirt ideas. This really is a creative concept and something that I haven't seen before. It's a place you could just come and hang out at, and/or bring a kid or adult party too and have everyone design and/or make creative shirts/apparel. So basically it's like a clothing store where you can make you own clothes, but it's big and accommodating enough to host a party there, so you could do it with your friends or I could definitely see having a kid's birthday party there. We had a lot of fun, the owner's are nice people too.”

The first thing that stood out to me was how the staff really listened to my needs and budget. I went into quite stressed, but the staff really made me feel at ease. The staff clearly explained the issue and quickly resolved it all the while including me in the decision making process. The staff even took the extra time and effort to vacuum out my car and wipe down the windows, which really made my day! I was offered complimentary coffee while I waited. The whole experience was GREAT. I will be returning for all of my auto repair needs!”

Things are very well organized and easy to find, I liked the regional maps on the wall, and the tasting area seemed comfortable and welcoming. There's a huge variety of wines and beers - and they even had a variety of sake! - and the self-serve setup is very neat. Additionally, Bill is very nice and knowledgeable, and he was patient with us as he explained all about Cellar 55. We picked up some wine and a couple of bottles of beer while we were there, and we're looking forward to coming back both as regulars and to attend special events!”
