  This was our first time here, (my wife and 4 year old). He had no problems walking the trails. Great place for some nice short hikes. The paths were well marked and were nice and clear. We saw a lot of chipmunks and squirrels, and 1 deer on our loop trail hike. We will definitely be back again.

  The Cleveland Metropcs truly are a treasure to us Clevelanders. The watershed stewardship center is great for a short walk, or as we did today, a nice spot to stop and have chow.

  I moved to the Cleveland area from a city that invested nothing into parks. I have really enjoyed stopping by any of the Metroparks, whenever I am near one. My family has enjoyed picnics and hikes and playgrounds throughout the county. We love them.

Cleveland Metroparks to fix historic Coast Guard station

Cleveland Metroparks CEO Brian Zimmerman said the park system will oversee full restoration and also will manage the facility. The county gave Whiskey Island and Wendy Park to the Metroparks for free in 2014. Zimmerman said the Coast Guard station will operate as an extension of Wendy Park.
