Dentzler Rd. Trailhead

I used to party down at the end of Dentzler in 1976-1978. With my friends who lives there behind our high school, Normandy. Wasn't a trail then. Had many parties down there and were chased by Parmas finest... Many times. There were no houses then, it was all woods. I was 16 in 1976. It was peaceful and beautiful then and I haven't been back there since. My friends have moved some have died, but I cherish the memories we made back in the day. I will have to stop by and check it out, look at the stream I puked in or the hills I broke my shoe in climbing to get away from the Parma Police. Good times great memories. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as we did. Live long and prosper ?

Fantastic trailhead, known as the back door of West Creek. Once you are in the canyon you forget about the fact you in suburbia.

We walked from the Center-Park parking area to the Dentzler Trailhead and back. Nice trail, some low spots are still wet but you don't need boots. Trail is pretty well maintained and the bridges are in excellent shape. Metroparks is doing a nice job of caretaking. Recommended

Awesome little “Backdoor” into West Creek Res. Be aware there is a very large hill right at the beginning

Nice trail. BIG hill going down at the beginning and on the way back up. Needs more on-street parking on dentzler. A bathroom portapotty would be nice.
