“My best friend and I went camping for the first time last night and had a grand time. We got a beautiful view of the sunset and Jay was very accommodating!!! He helped us start a fire and provided us with extra wood. Over all 10/10! May be going back tonight”

“This park is absolutely gorgeous, especially in the fall. There is a pavillion, walking trails, fishing pond, swing set, as well as walking and nature trails. The walking trail portion is paved. The pond boasts friendly swans and geese looking for handouts. The only downside to this park, and I know this doesn't affect everyone, is the lack of play equipment for small children. Regardless, we always manage to have fun here though.”

“A great park in a nice spot. Plenty of trails and even a swimming area. The dam makes a nice waterfall and the lowhead dam makes the swimming area. Like most Cleveland metroparks, it's kept clean and well maintained. Definitely worth the visit for families, dogs, and people of all ages.”

“Absolutely beautiful park with a wide selection of activities. For the more leisurely walkers or fitness-focused runners, there are several lovely paved paths through light woods and around the pond. For the nature lovers and hikers, choose from the several long gravel trails through the dense and tall forest, winding every which way. For families with little ones, a playground, picnic shelter, and soccer field will keep them well-occupied! My husband and I live near here and we walk the trails at least every couple of days, if not more often.”

“One of the best places in northeast ohio to go for a peaceful run in nature. No pets or bikes allowed, a great place to unwind and relax. Most of the trails are unpaved and are just grass, keep this in mind if considering visiting after a bout of heavy rain. An extremely serene and quiet place to de-stress”

“Such a clean beautiful place. Loved the paved trail for the little ones. We can bring scooters or just not get dirty which is sometimes a bonus for a parent. The bathrooms are also always open and clean. The park makes it a favorite spot.”

“This park is among the finest of the Cleveland Metro Parks. Besides the spillway swimming area, Hinckley lake has a stroller friendly trail that is accessible from multiple parking areas and encompasses the entire lake. There is a boathouse/store where you can rent canoe's or paddle boats by the hour at reasonable rates. There are plenty of picnic areas as well as docks along the trail to fish or just take a rest. If you are looking to take a leisurely scenic walk and don't want to travel far then this is the place! The boat house fall hours begin after labor day and closes at 5 pm.”

“Intend on spending a day here. Hinckley Reservation has something for everyone from chilling, picnics, biking or hiking. Plenty of parking and restrooms for your convenience. I biked around the lake, what a joy. I also hiked Whipp's Ledges - a great workout. Definitely a place to re-visit as there are too many points of interest to take in, in one day.”

“I've lived in the area for quite awhile and hadn't realized this park was here, so I rode my bike over today to check it out. It seems like the main reason for that is that it is almost purely a local neighborhood park-- blacktop and some basketball hoops (modest disrepair, but looked usable), a playground for kids, and then a fairly nice pool. Unfortunately, the pool is restricted to people from the local neighborhood, so not much reason to visit if you don't live within easy walking distance.”
