“We were just out today looking for a park in Northwest Columbus and we stumbled upon this little gem stone. From the looks of this this park is circled by about five baseball fields. With that being said this little oasis is small and it is for kids age 12 and younger nothing super special but yet very nice and welcoming. If you’ve got some young kids and you want a nice quiet park for the kids to just blow off some steam you should check this little gem out”

“Good clean park for kids. There's pavilions, a basketball court, zip lines, swings, hiking trails, a creek to play in. I don't see any homeless or drug activities happening here like you do at other parks locally, I recommend you to take your kids here ! We saw an owl 🦉 on the hiking trail, it made this visit super cool ! 😎 The colorful leaves and the quiet atmosphere made the surroundings so peaceful and therapeutic.”

“I’ve only been here during the winter so I’m not sure what it’s normally like but the snow just melted so a lot of the trail was muddy. It was a short trail, a little less than a mile to do the whole thing but you should definitely go here if you want to take a short walk to clear your mind. We saw a few deer and all of the water was frozen which gave an eerie feeling but it was neat!”

Baseball, soccor fields, basketball courts, pavilions all with grills, a cute creek for the kids to explore in, a duck pond with fish and turtles! And a nice play area, however no trees for shade when really sunny. The library will hold education events here and for certain holidays, such as July 4th the community celebrates here!!”

The park is very nice, clean, big and completely fenced. There’s even a park for smaller dogs. Plenty of water spots as well. Will definitely go back. Just wish I lived closer.”

“Massive park has many features from gardens to bridges and lakes full of fish and turtles. You can rent kayaks and pedal boats and fish or enjoy photography or bike riding or jogging and walking. This park extends for miles and is well maintained and consistently patrolled. It has the distinguishment of being the largest urban park in the USA..bigger than Central Park in New York. It was utilized for mining coal and other minerals and the river was a power source for a number of mills that built this areas economy and development. It can take quite a while to explore it all since various adjacent areas are in the parks jurisdiction. There are no food places in the park except for at the golf course. There is also a working mill to visit with a beautiful covered bridge and waterfall. A unique treasure to visit..”

“A nice mini trail, mostly on a boardwalk - very easy to walk. There is a small creek running alongside most of the trail and there are a few bridges which cross it. Only real complaint is that there are plenty of man made objects such as orange posts and netting which tarnish the natural beauty.”
