“Very good breakfast, but not a fan of the bacon it's to over cooked but excellent Prime rib , best around Defiance. You only get one side which is the down side. Most people like a salad and potatoes with their meat without a upcharge. They also have good service. This is a hidden gem and very close to defiance. Worth the drive outside of town. Homemade food and large breakfasts. Prices are good on the breakfast. They have a bar which is great when dining out. I'm picky about my food. I like homemade not frozen, so I was impressed. Wish I would have found the place sooner for breakfast. They do take reservations and can seat a large group.”

“There are not enough flowery adjectives to describe the care my mother and father in law received at Greenbriar these last three years. It was incredibly hard for them to move from their beloved home, but my father in law had reached the point he could no longer drive and they both needed assistance in every day living being very elderly (90+). My mother in law used to tell us, "The people who work here are just angels - they take such good care of us. The help me with my hose in the morning, they massage my legs, the help us whenever we need it and they're so compassionate." I saw that for myself this past week after my mother in law passed away at 92 and my father in law - now 96- was confused and anguished over her death. The staff could NOT have been more caring or compassionate. It's so hard for my husband and I to live in Arizona, but knowing they have been so cared for the last years of their lives is comforting. There may be more expensive or fancy facilities, but Greenbriar is a family of people that is unmatched in my experience.”

“Gee (owner and cook) is the "real deal Jamaican" from Trelawny, Jamaica. Very welcoming, with his bright smile and island-vibe Jamaican accent. The food is cooked to order, so expect to wait, but it's worth it. And it's set up for takeout, although there is seating, so the food is not plated when you dine in. The cabbage and greens were especially delicious. Also, the Brown Stewed Red Snapper Fish was absolutely wonderful. Food came with delicious sides like homemade cornbread, and fried banana. All yummy!😋 There is homemade rum raisin ice cream too!”

“I can't say enough about the care given to the residents at this home-like facility! Kemper House and its employees are the best. They have integrity, honesty and genuine compassion for the folks in their care. They addressed, in a timely manner, any concerns we had for our loved one. Having to also deal with all the COVID issues at the same was very stressful, but, we were somewhat comforted knowing the staff was caring for our father in the same lovingkindness as we would have. If a long term, dementia care facility becomes one of your options, you would be wise to research Kemper House. This will be your choice in the end. Thank you so much to these wonderful folks who have become friends to our family.”

“This store has lots of furnace parts. The staff was very helpful. I was looking for the radiator valves to bleed hot water radiators. This site has the keys and parts to fix my boiler. I like that each department has lots of people that knows where stuff is. This is easy to get into if your needing a wheelchair access also .”

“They're my go to. In all honesty though They're expensive. Don't believe otherwise. We have 5 cats some indoor some outside. so they do require different care sometimes. Our German Shepherd is also seen here. He does have a slight aggressive behavior with anyone outside of our family and they are excellent with him. We had a cat pass years ago and they stayed open past hours so my husband could make it there from work and hold her one last time together as a family. I will forever be a customer because of this sympathy they showed us. They also sent an sympathy card a few days later.”

“First visit. Pleasantly surprised. Very clean, has a potty and a pavilion w tables. Trails well marked and all intersect. 3.5 miles total to cover all trails. We did some in reverse to add mileage. Lots of wildlife and informational signs. I will return.”
