(August 29, 2020, 3:56 pm)Everything on the menu is delicious including the fried chicken, catfish, meatloaf, beef short ribs, turkey and dressing and peach cobbler. Highly recommend this restaurant if you want perfectly seasoned and cooked real soul food. Evelyn's offers some of the best tasting food in Tulsa. Try it!
(July 7, 2020, 9:53 am)May be the best fried chicken in Tulsa (sorry, Wanda J's). Takes about 20 minutes for a breast, but well worth the wait. Great staff, great selection for lunch, great desserts. Off the beaten path location adjacent to the Tulsa airport runway.
(July 1, 2020, 1:42 pm)When I called to place my order the lady had great customer service! She was so polite. When I got there to pick it up, again, great service! Everyone was sooo friendly! The food was absolutely AMAZING!!! Will definitely return regularly!
(June 26, 2020, 12:58 pm)Evelyn’s has the best fried chicken in Tulsa, and some of the best I’ve ever eaten. The sides are also delicious. We love the macaroni and cheese, yams, mashed potatoes and gravy, and green beans. The tomatoes and okra are also great. You can’t go wrong. The chicken is made to order, so we usually call our order in ahead of time. I’m sure the other menu options are great too, but I love the chicken too much.
