“Special Young Adults is a company that helps those of us with special needs to make it through each and every day. The people that work for SYA are all amazing, caring, patient, and loving individuals. They often times put their clients wants/needs ahead of their own. But we love every minute that we get to spend with these amazing people. I learn so much from them every day we are together! The facilities SYA uses are also great! The office itself is nice, cozy, and clean. However, the homes that the individuals live in are more than just clean. These homes are immaculate! And its not just that they are clean and tidy, but they are decorated just right-making the homes warm and inviting. Even the client's bedroom look like a page from Better Homes and Gardens magazine! But it is here in the bedroom where each client gets to express themselves however they want. You can tell most of them enjoy having their room the way they like it. But who doesn't need an individualized and unique space all to themselves at times?? All in all, I would say the clients seem to be very happy. Most of the time they are positive and upbeat. Just excited to see what each day has in store. And i know from personal experience that all clients affiliated with Special Young Adults are well taken care of. They are well fed, they receive positive interactions and encouragement, they feel the love that us staff members have for each of them, and that beautifully innocent love is returned to us whole-heartedly! If I were a special needs individual, Special Young Adults is where I would want to be!”
