I had a 45k appointment with Mr.Turner, my first, Lexus experience as a service guest.. I have experienced may other dealerships but was never greeted and treated, truly, as a guest not as someone to get money from.. Mr.Turner walked my vehicle with me when I dropped it off and discussed possible maintenance issues. We discussed possible issues and agreed at that time that tires would be a sensible issue to address at that time, lucky for me they were on sale!! The technician sent me a video of the highlights of their inspection and it made sense and I was appreciative.. When I picked up my car, no surprise charges and Mr.Turner walked my vehicle with me and sent me in my way.. A great experience, now I know how you earned your Elite status.. This was probably the best experience I have had of buying a vehicle. I have bought over 15 cars and this one was excellent. I traveled from California and sales team made sure I had a ride from the airport and was greeted promptly at the door when I arrived. My new Lexus was cleaned and ready to go. Financing was a breeze and quick. We were even offered snacks for our long drive back home. Thanks again to everyone that helped make my purchase that awesome.
I love Kuni Lexus of Portland. They provide expert service in a timely manner. The service specialists are always friendly and knowledgeable. The waiting area is comfortable. This time I received a text message with a link to the video inspection report. Got to see underneath my car for the first time, very cool! Looking forward to Lexus coming out with the all electric vehicle + release for the U.S. I've driven Lexus for the past 10 years and couldn't be happier with the safety, reliability, comfort factor.
I showed up a few minutes prior to my appointment and was met by Aaron, the tire specialist. He welcomed me as I pulled up. My dashboard was displaying the "flat tire" symbol and I was concerned that I had driven the last mile with a flat. He immediately introduced himself and quickly checked the pressure of each tire. It turned out to be a display error and all tires were fine. I then met with Ed Swift and he reviewed the services I wanted. The person who was originally assigned to me was at lunch and was not due back for a while. When it was time to leave, I started my car and saw that there were no tire pressures being displayed. This was one of the main reasons I brought in my car to be serviced. I went back in and Ed came to the rescue. He took my car for a quick drive and the tire pressures were then displaying properly. Also, the bag of chocolates are a nice touch.
Everything at Kuni was great and I felt as if I was a person, not a number. Only problem came from person who made initial contact re safety recall: she told me it would be approximately 1/2 hour for service. Thankfully, Spencer told me it was more involved than that and arranged for a loaner for me. Please made sure contact people are better informed of service and costs. Spencer was great and kept the experience positive.
