Reflecting on my childhood I recall that my parents would only take us out for dinner on special occasions and as such, going out to dinner was always a treat - an experience, if you will. In today's world dinner seems more of an inconvenience for most, and we, the customers, are herded like cattle into restaurants and provided with food, drink and a bill as quickly as possible as to make the table available for another sale. The Cascade Lodge provides a dining EXPERIENCE. I took my parents to this wonderful establishment to celebrate my Fathers 65th birthday. I wanted to take him somewhere special, somewhere where I could convey the love and admiration that this family has for him - The Cascade Lodge was my first pick, and the perfect one. The food was absolutely delectable! Each of our meals was prepared just as we had preferred, all of which were hot, fresh, and pleasantly presented. Danielle was our server this evening and her wonderful balance of professionalism and charm enhanced our dining experience. I would highly recommend dining at the Cascade Lodge to any of my family and friends. What better way to celebrate any relationship than over good food in an atmosphere that is soft, welcoming, and relaxed. ”

“I can't post enough nice things about Bridgeton House. We stayed here a couple of weeks back and I think I had one of the best times ever here. Beautiful place on the river, with impeccable rooms, food and service. The breakfast was really, really good. The kids loves the slide and diving board! Playground is new and safe for play. Also did ping pong and basketball. The office staff is very friendly and accommodating. “Been going there for years. The state has started some upgrades and improvements. Our cabin had all new screens and a new kitchen table. My sister-in-law's cabin had the above and new kitchen flooring. So there are no surprises the cabin cones with: bathroom with shower, two or three bedrooms (beds but no bedding), living room with I believe one couch and two chairs (no TV, internet, or sound system), kitchen area (stove, microwave, full size refrigerator, sink with running water). No pots, dishes, utensils, etc. The cabin does not have air conditioning. We use sleeping bags for bedding. Having been tent campers we have camp kitchen supplies. I'm also able to use paracord to rig a fan blowing out the kitchen window thereby drawing in cool evening air from the bedrooms, if the doors are left cracked. It's all about family time. Eating dinners outdoors. Campfires every night. The park to play in during the days. Enjoy!”

“Great cabin! Far enough from the neighbouring cabins that you truly felt alone in the woods. Cabin itself was all you could ask for. 2 bedrooms, one with 2 bunk beds and one with a queen. One bath, clean. Kitchen, need to bring your own pots, pans, and utensils. But otherwise very functional. Would definitely come back.”

“Ed and Sherri’s inn is GORGEOUS!! We rented the entire house for the night before our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier we did so! We were greeted by them, with a snack and a glass of wine. All 4 bedrooms at the inn are beautiful, and each has its own shower. The property is so spacious and well kept and beautiful! All new renovation. Ed’s artwork is so interesting and unique and adds a lovely touch to the entire place. Plus, we had a bon fire in their fire pit, and they even helped us out by picking up firewood for us! They also have a pool, but it was closed for the season (end of September). But, the best part of all is that BREAKFAST!!! Ed and Sherri cooked up the most decadent and delicious breakfast for us, and even accommodated my dietary restrictions! We cannot wait to have an excuse to stay here again! Even if it’s just that we need a relaxing get away on a farm for an evening!”
