“Beautiful local park tucked between a short western ridge bordering the tow path on one side and the Delaware river on the other. No direct views of the river as separated by River Rd but the park is very scenic. Camping picnic areas and disc golf are all available plus a convenient access point for the tow path.”

“I have camped here in early spring and mid-late fall; I had no trouble getting a campground either time; although I'm sure it's different in peak season. Great campground - large sites, well maintained, lit bathrooms with an outlet if needed, pretty area with some decent views of the hills in the Fall. Also, it's within walking distance of High Rocks Park.”

“Can be a bit soggy after a heavy rain. Dries out somewhat quickly though. Very large open area. Has water available for the dogs (possibly turned off in winter) Usually very nice people and dogs. Your mileage may vary. Has a few benches for seating. No bathroom - although stores are nearby. Has small dog section as well as large dog section. Large dog section usually has more dogs.”

“This idea a great facility. The fields, parking, the snack shack, restrooms, everything always clean, well kept & maintained. The coaches & staff that do the bulk of what needs to b done to keep the place running well and looking good are a great group of people. Coach Frank & all the coaches for his team are top notch. Doesnt get any better than them.”

“Kept up okay. Came out for a friend's 45+ league game. The diamonds were definitely clean and picked up, however they were very dusty. They rely on those who use the field to take care of it. Still, it's kept up nice and we look forward to the next game.”

“Best deal in PA for keeping a trailer sailer, once you get through the waiting list. I don't worry about the boat at all, year round. Bathrooms, parking, and ramps are nice too. Pool looks nice but we've never had a chance to use it.”

“We went during the first week of the off season, there was a lot more people than I thought there would be! That shows me the place must be popular. The cabin we stayed in was cute and clean and accomodating. My only concern was that we had an almost one year old with us and there was no room in either bedroom for her pack and play. One room had bunk beds but no storage, one room had a giant bed but also drawers and storage. Overall we had an amazing stay and we will be back.”

“Nice to have access to the canal trail all along 611. It's next to the water so typically gets a bit colder and windier than expected in Fall and spring.”

“Recently went camping at the nearby Deer Wood Campground (which BTW is within walking distance of High Rocks). The park itself is pretty enough. There's a small parking lot with a short and mostly flat walking trail that originates there, that follows along the top of the cliffs over the river and has some really pretty views. There is some good bird viewing also, and I saw (I think) a bunch of nesting vultures. Overall, the park is small and seems like it would be best for climbers, not serious hikers. It IS worth a stop for the views if you're nearby.”
