“Nice campground with friendly workers that were so nice to help us out with a spot for the night while we were having truck problems. They were nice and waited for us to arrive later in the evening. Thank you for being so kind! They set us up with an easy pull through site. There are some nice nature trails there but we didnt have much time to check them out. I cant really say too much about the campground because we were only there one night. Thank you for a nice place to stay during a stressful situation!!”

“The SAC was an absolute delight of a venue to work with for our rehearsal dinner! They really made the planning process very easy, as they were organized with their communication and help with planning. We loved working with them for planning our event! They answered our questions very quickly and helped us when we had no idea what to do (like is a champagne tower a thing or can we have a food truck??). They were really lovely to work with and you could tell they truly care about their clients and their individual events. It’s such a unique and fun venue with a beautiful bar, outside patio, and rustic décor. If you have an event here, your guests will definitely remember! We recommend the Stables at Connoquenessing looking to have a unique, great event!”

And to complete the experience talk to the manager/owner/maitre..( I’m not sure, I didn’t ask him) he seem to be every where, aware of every detail that makes the place, ‘this place’, run like a well oiled and tuned machine. “Booked a room with a double bed. Sorry forgot to take photos😒. The room was very clean and cleaning service was every morning. The staff was helpful and very nice. Special note: I checked in on an evening it was snowing. There is a curvingly steep hill to the hotel. I have a car with 4 wheel drive so I had no issues making it up. If you have front wheel drive it may be challenging, it was for a several guests. Would definitely stay there again.”

“I deleted my other review. They made a mistake which left me with no money for a day but it did get fixed. Ken is a great guy who helped me out with changing the primary card and offered food out of their frozen meals cooler and drinks. Racheal having her other general manager fix the issue by faxing my bank helped me out too! My bank immediately put the money back in soon as they got the fax. As my last review mentioned, the rooms are clean, area is great as there are lots of stores and restaurants near by. Only thing that I wish hotels would go back to normal is the breakfast. It's not just this hotel, they all quit doing the eggs, sausage gravy and biscuit breakfasts. Still, they have a few options to choose from at least. Kens an awesome worker!!!! He deserves a raise. He builds relationships with customers and he jumped on making coffee when I came out this morning on top of the start to fixing my issue. Thanks for the great customer service”

“Nice hotel. They were in the middle of doing upgrades to the rooms during our stay. We never heard any of the work being performed and our stay was 5 days long. Stephen the GM of the hotel was very helpful at check-in. He gave us multiple ideas for great places to eat that are walking distance from the hotel. He also chatted with us each time he saw us like we were old friends playing catch up.. The fountain park that is across the street has a very nice paved trail to have a nice easy walk. Would definitely stay here again. Beds were very comfy. Our only negatives which brings this to a 4 star rating is the shower has no shelves for soaps and shampoos so you have to reach to the floor. Nor is there towel racks for your hand or bath towels.. The other is the furniture ie desk armoire hutch etc etc seemed to be very inexpensive not commercial grade quality. Overall rooms looked very sharp and clean housekeeping does a wonderful job cleaning rooms. The pool here is heated and the hot tub is good sized.”

“We checked in this hotel on our way to Florida. Lovely hotel by Hilton and the price was also great. The hotel is a new building with the rooms clean and modern. The lady at the reception was very friendly. My credit card got declined and she was accommodating as my booking was prepaid. Also the room we got was not clean and she replaced it with a new room as soon as we told her. The breakfast was okay as most of the options were closed. There were options for bagel and some packaged food. I miss the old days when we had so many options for breakfast. Anyways, the hotel was overall really good.”

“Golden West Lodge is literally right off the 5 Freeway. This in my humble opinion makes it golden. A little pun on words. The Golden West Lodge does not have valet parking or valet or even room service. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I won't say how much the rates are but I do find the prices fair. There is plenty to do in the immediate area such as shopping, restaurants, Bowers Museum, Discovery Center and even the local Santa Ana Zoo. There's something for everyone in this area so if you're bored you can only blame yourself. A lot of the local citizens stay at the Golden West Lodge. So if you like to meet people or instead just people-watch this is a good place to do both. I hope this review helps you out.”
