“This is a nice, shaded trail along the creek, which is wadable in places. The creek does flood over the trail at times, leaving the trail muddy with large puddles in places.”

“Serene setting, despite being sandwiched between major roads. An easy stroll around the park with a bunch of fun stuff for young explorers to enjoy.”

“Applebrook park right across Paoli Pike to East Goshen Park and together they make a first class park. There is a crosswalk with warning light for cars. Applebrook has three miles of paved trail that can be used by walkers runners, bikers and rollerblading. On the eastern point of Applebrook park is a forest restoration project that is wonderful. It would be great if a scout would make identifying the trees their project. On the southeast corner of Applebrook connects to the wetland boardwalk on East Boot Road near North Chester Road. I spotted deer, and many birds including a cardinal.”

“This is a great place to get on the trail, and this section is paved which is also awesome. There's an excellent adult sized body weight fitness station, so before or after your run / bike you can get a work out in. The downside if you walk here is that the road itself to the trailhead is torn up, without real shoulders to walk in. However the trail is lovely, and the information board, dog station, water fountain and gym are great. This isn't a playground for kids, but it's excellent.”

“Beautiful park. So green (I flew in from California). Lots of green grass for lounging or playing (most of it is sloped). Picnic areas, climbing structures and a wide flowing Creek with trails leading into Cedar Hollow Preserve. The trail is swampy and challenging in spots -- be prepared. There is also a baseball field, but I think that is on private land.”
Address: 1 Mill Rd, Malvern, PA 19355, USA
“This is a 19 acre park has a baseball and softball fields and two batting cages. There is a picnic pavilion and restrooms. There is also Samantha's playground built in memory of a little girl who died very young. The playground has benches surrounding it. The ball fields are used by Chester Valley Little League during their seasons. There is a small buttterfy garden and a small wetland area. My one big complaint is that the baseball field has dugouts but the softball fiellds do not. It would also be nice if the fenced in wetland area was planted with rain garden plants.”
