“Great B&B to stay in! This started as a Christmas present for my in-laws that was given to them last yr 2015. They didn't get a chance to go and realized it was going to expire by the end of December of 2016. They asked us to go with them since it was their first B&B, plus they know how much we love Lancaster & B&B's. My husband and I decided to join them. Luckily they accepted children. This was our first B&B with my daughter who is 3 years old. Denise and Al (owners of B&B) played with my daughter, had toys for her and made her a plate for breakfast the 2 days we were there. They're such a lovely couple who love families and very welcoming. The breakfast was good and the rooms were very clean. They even provided a toddler air mattress for my daughter. They're the sweetest couple. That said, my in-laws enjoyed there first B&B and glad they were able to experience it at A New Beginning Bed & Breakfast. It was a perfect weekend thanks to Denise and Al. Thank you once again :)”

“Lovely out of the way B&B 10 minutes to Lancaster but you would never know it. Nice quiet property on the grounds of the old Rocky Springs Amusement Park. Some of the old buildings are still here. Our breakfasts have been wonderful. Teresa has been informative and a great innkeeper. She wants you to think of this as your home with a little pampering. We came here for an overnight and stayed for 4 nights. We were surprised they didn't fill up the rooms. We have seen deer and a Hawks in this picturesque setting they have here. Rooms very clean and nice. Do yourself a favor and come stay a night or two or three.”

“I've had the pleasure of staying at Apple Bin Inn (ABI) before with the previous owners, and while those experiences we're charming and enjoyable and ultimately kept me coming back - I always felt like there's was a tiny bit missing. I never expressed those feelings in reviews, but nevertheless they were there. So when I saw that there were new owners it piqued my interest. Could they build on what Steve and Jaime had created? Would they add new quirks and improvements? Would the breakfast be just as good? I needed a long weekend to make an accurate assessment and waited until I got back home and had time to decompress to write this review. ABI is one of those B&B's that you'd hope would set the standard by which others are measured; that it would be everything you'd see in a Hallmark 'featured' movie, or Nancy Meyers film; that it would tick all the boxes of what you're looking for in an escape 'away from home' but still have comfort and hospitality of a B&B. You're in luck, because it's that and more. Karen & Tom have taken everything lovely about the ABI and (somehow) made it better. The grounds, the morning breakfast, the character, the charm - all improved or elevated with their additions, knowledge, warmth and welcoming hospitality. The comfort of the rooms and that provided by the caretakers can't be stated enough, it really was an idyllic stay at place that we've come to appreciate for being a perfect getaway for a relaxing, fun weekend in Lancaster. Thank you guys for making this such a lovely stay. We can't wait to get back up to visit this fall”

“There food was really good. We sat out on the deck and they made everything right on the grill right there. What I really loved was that as soon as we sat down the lady was ready to get our drinks and as soon as we ordered our food. Maybe 5 mins is all we waited. And they where packed. So for them being packed and getting our food too us quickly was amazing. I'm giving them 5 stars for sure”

The owner actually got out of bed at 2:30am to accommodate them even though they arrived so early in the morning. I hear the breakfast is delicious and the landscaping/garden was beautiful too!”

Our room was clean, the living areas were relaxing and the breakfasts that Elizabeth prepared were delicious. You can tell that this is more than a business to Vivian and Bob. Their love for this property truly comes across as they tell you about the history and care that they have taken to make it what it is today. Their resident cat, Butters, also was very friendly and followed us around as we roamed the property. The Inn at Pinetown

“This was the BEST place we’ve stayed in Lancaster! We have enjoyed the Arts Hotel and the Marriott but will opt to stay here going forward. It was a charming stay — the spacious rooms in this Inn have been recently updated, renovated, and decorated beautifully. The unique art and modern flare warm this gorgeous 1800 large estate. I brought my 3 year old and she was warmly welcomed by the owners. Our breakfast was farm fresh and delicious! I highly recommend this Inn for a romantic getaway or a retreat with the family. It would also be an amazing place for a bride to get ready for her special day. The place is picturesque! We can not wait to go back!!!!!”

Sunset Valley Motel

“The Manager, Tina, and her husband are very nice people and make you feel comfortable. The rates are reasonable...maybe a bit high. This is a basic motel and is worth the money. It is a very quiet place...minimal traffic...making it easy to rest. The beds are comfortable. This location is close to many tourist spots and very close to the highway. Give them a chance....worth the money! The motel is under NEW ownership since Sept 2018 and is much different and better than before. Please ignore all the old negative reviews of the past. This is a whole new place. Give them a chance to prove themselves different!”

Twin Pine Manor Bed & Breakfast

Address: 1934 W Main St, Ephrata, PA 17522, USA

Lodging

“We stayed in Lancaster Cty last year for our anniversary and decided to go back again. We originally planned to stay at the same place as last year, but somehow Twin Pine Manor popped up, so we decided to switch. I am so glad we did. What a beautiful B&B! the grounds are lovely and immaculate, the rooms comfy and the staff goes above and beyond. We felt as though we were staying with family. We were quite shocked that it was literally off of major road, but you would never know it once inside. The trees surrounding the property block out any traffic noise. We had beautiful weather which truly lends to the beauty of the place. There are many common areas - a rooftop deck overlooking the farmlands, a game room with pool table and large screen TV, a workout room with a good deal of equipment, numerous cozy seating areas for relaxing, and round the clock hot and cold beverages. And don't pass up the chocolate chip cookies! Breakfast each morning was delicious and filling - we only needed one other meal each day. I highly recommend it and will definitely go back there again.”
