“For the most part, this is a great place to go for eye care. The one complaint I do have is that I was given WRONG information over the phone regarding the price of a procedure (not covered under my insurance). With the info I rec'd I decided to proceed. When I went to my appointment to start the process I was informed of the price of the procedure by the doctor. When I told him what I was told, he said that was completely wrong. Imagine my frustration knowing I couldn't get the eye surgery I've wanted for years.”

All of their caregivers care deeply for the residents and this extends into the managerial staff as well. They have a fantastic Activities Coordinator and it shows through their community Facebook page, which is open to everyone. I encourage you to check it out if you're interested in placing a loved one into the community of Hawthorne Woods. Their weekly activity calendar is posted as well as pictures of community members and highlights from the day.”
