“It was nice. The rooms were clean and there were towels in the room and little amenities... And the lady at the front desk was very gracious, when I booked the room I specifically asked for a smoking room and when I got there they didn't say anything I just assumed they have everything I booked... But in the morning we found out that we were smoking in a min smoking room ( it's $150.00 charge if you do that in a min smoking room) but I explained to her that whene I booked it I specifically asked for a smoking room and she was so nice and said next time to tell the guy at the. Counter....she could have given me a hard time but didn't... I really appreciated her graciousness...”

“Nice hotel. They were in the middle of doing upgrades to the rooms during our stay. We never heard any of the work being performed and our stay was 5 days long. Stephen the GM of the hotel was very helpful at check-in. He gave us multiple ideas for great places to eat that are walking distance from the hotel. He also chatted with us each time he saw us like we were old friends playing catch up.. The fountain park that is across the street has a very nice paved trail to have a nice easy walk. Would definitely stay here again. Beds were very comfy. Our only negatives which brings this to a 4 star rating is the shower has no shelves for soaps and shampoos so you have to reach to the floor. Nor is there towel racks for your hand or bath towels.. The other is the furniture ie desk armoire hutch etc etc seemed to be very inexpensive not commercial grade quality. Overall rooms looked very sharp and clean housekeeping does a wonderful job cleaning rooms. The pool here is heated and the hot tub is good sized.”

“Out of the other two hotels we stayed in Oregon( Hampton and Holiday Inn) this was the best of all. No issues. We will definitely be staying here again and wished we picked this for our longer stays in Oregon, we stayed only for two nights. Great welcoming friendly staffs. Clean building, checked in late parking lot was bright good lights, Lobby and hallways clean, hot breakfast, breakfast ladies and front desk lady were kind and friendly,and the coffee was good and lots of variety for creamers to syrups. Our room was clean, bathroom clean, clean freezer and fridge, comfortable clean bed, clean carpet, there’s extra pillow and comforter in closet, bowl and utensil we used was clean as well in our room. I wish I took pics before getting settled in but I got a few before our check out. Highly recommend when staying in Oregon Ohio. Oh and I loved the smell of the scent of the body soap etc :)”

I'm sure during covid they were overwhelmed and it's hard to give your best service under those conditions so I'm sure that was the reason for the bad reviews. . I was in excruciating pain and needed an EKG. To my surprise everyone was wonderful! I forget the NP last name but her first name is Jamie. She was great. Very understanding and kind. EKG was good and we discussed medication to help. The next day all the pain was gone. I am so thankful for Jamie And the staff there.”

“This is a very cool motel off the beaten track. The rooms have carport style parking where you can pull your car right up next to your room door and unload your trunk. The rates are very reasonable. They have very basic rooms for $50 and upgraded rooms for $70. I stayed in the $70 room. It was very clean and well maintained and well stocked with towels, soap and shampoo. Maybe the parking lot is not in the best of shape but nothing's perfect. Highly recommended.”

When I got there Lou helped us in Finance. He has a ton of experience in the car industry. I had never been in a dealership and not had to fight for SOMETHING, until South Hills Kia. They gave me 300 dollars MORE than I wanted for my trade in. I told them they were allowed to upsell me on Gap Insurance, they said "you don't need it". My jaw dropped opened, literally. The dealership industry would sell snake oil to their own mothers. So it took A LOT of integrity to transact business that way. Before I signed papers, they took 1 percentage point off of my loan too. I know its a gimmick, but it worked on me. I am telling all of my friends and family to go to South Hills Kia ! I'll be back.”

My room was clean when I check in and I did not run into any problems during my stay. There is a pool if you have any kids. This hotel is pet-friendly so if you have a pet, they are welcomed here. “Wonderful staff, super nice and understanding. Room was clean but the tub on the other hand was disgusting. The mat had the nastiest stuff under it, tried to take a relaxing bath and opened my eyes to see what looked to be possibly shower soap residue floating in it, lifted the mat and had to clean it and then clean the drain because it was clogged and pulled a handful of other people's hair out of it, still stopped up though. The aircon was broken but still worked and the lamps didn't work, other than that we had a pretty good experience.”

“Really great for an extended stay hotel. Spacious and adequately stocked with soap and paper towels. Full size fridge and 2 burner stove. Premium suites come loaded with snacks and drinks. Would have been 5 stars buttttt the toilet paper was so incredibly rough!!! Like cheap public school toilet paper and tissues in the bathroom. Also we stayed there 4 nights and 5 days and didn't find out until the night before we checked out they served complimentary dinner down stairs! Very disappointed no one told us until I asked about late night food. It should be listed where the breakfast hours were.. They are also only cleaning the rooms on a week EVEN if requested. I understand having to cut back cleaning services due to the pandemic, but if a guest request several times for the room to be tidied it should be no problem. I had to put out my garbage several times.”
