“If you're looking for a cozy, quiet, homey place to stay while visiting Pennsylvania, I highly recommend Lake Mocatek Inn. It is extremely affordable for what they give you. We booked the studio apartment suite that has a full kitchen that also comes with a few dishes and a small balcony looking over the lake. It's located close to two small towns with with many options for food and activities. The gentleman who was in the office area was also extremely helpful and nice, and has recommendations of places to visit and restaurants to try. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. “Rented this place last minute for a inprontu bachelor party. It was a fun. Brief walk to the lake docks and a little clearing made for a great fishing spot. Also as far as value it’s excellent. The place is small but worth every penny since you are close to the water. I recommend a weekend stay. Downside is the tv is old and a knockoff brand from 1991. Barely worked.”

“Very nice man that checked us in. The room was clean. The handicap shower was AMAZING. Microwave. Fridge. And a cute little table for two in the room. My only complaint was that the a/c unit didn't work correctly. I will report that upon my check out. Also, 2 light bulbs in the bathroom need to be replaced. But basically, a truly good experience. No evidence of bugs. Quiet in the back. I'll come again. Thank you.”

“Rooms are a bit small but very comfy. The first room we got was dirty: hair in beds, foreign dirt on floor... they apologized and we were directed to another room that was a lot cleaner. We all had a good night sleep as it was very quiet. Breakfast didn't offer a lot of options but food was good.”

“Only downside is that where my room was I could hear the front desk associates tapping on the desk and talking throughout the night. Overall though it was a great place to stay, everyone was very polite and made you feel welcome daily. Rooms are very comfortable as well as the beds. You get a fridge, microwave, stove... you name it they got including a indoor pool. I would definitely recommend to anyone.”

“Beautiful campground. Well maintained by a fantastic owner. Lots of trees and shade. Great pond for swimming and fishing. Very nice playground. We love coming here to relax and love the fact that there isn't a pool or any other crazy amenities. (If I wanted to sit by a pool all day I'd get a pool membership at home!). Nice sized spots. A few great tent sites around the pond. A very clean bath house with washer and dryer. Lots of events to participate in if you so desire!”

“We had a great weekend here. Room 3 was perfect for us it had a large living room that worked well since my wife goes to bed before me. Bathroom was very clean, room clean. Very quiet in this old mansion too. Breakfast was great the bar had bagels, muffins, danish, fruit, sticky buns cereals oatmeal and granola so plenty on that for us and they made one morning waffles with ham and the other eggs any way we wanted with bacon and biscuits. Overall it was a fantastic relaxing stay, just what we needed. Will go back again for sure.”

“The room is very clean and the staff could not be more friendly. The room had been freshly painted and the beds and bedding were in excellent shape. Pillows are very comfortable. A microwave and refrigerator were in my room as well as a hair dryer and newer Flat Screen TV. Please keep in mind this is a motel so don't expect a gym, sauna, hot tub, and 24 hour room service. For the money spent, it is well worth it. I look forward to another return and will stay here when I am in the area.”
