“Don’t be persuaded by the 2 star rating. This was perfect. Quaint. Immaculate( and I’m super picky and a germaphobe). I was immediately impressed. Check in was fast and simple. Room was exactly what was needed. No weird smells. Heating was quiet. Bed was PERFECT and better than mine! The shower head was to die for. I often come to this area so now I know where to go. When you travel, you are not spending the majority of your time in the room but when you are in the room you want comfort. We were comfortable! No bugs of any sort! I say this because 4 and 5 star places have had the occasional bug, weird smells, unclean towels and more. Travelers Rest has made me a Customer for life! Plus, breakfast was on point. Thanks for the great stay!”

“Quite a lovely patch of land with a working farm and hotel attached to it. There are outdoor cats and kittens, cows in the barn, chickens, a frog pond, ornate flower beds, and a family of friendly gentile donkeys that you can feed and pet from over the fence. The location is quiet and the rooms quaint and like home. It's cozy and more like visiting your family than an impersonal hotel chain.”

“Beautiful rooms. Very clean, big and comfortable. We got a two queen beds room. It's convenient that it's part of the casino, so you can play games any time you want. However, you don't hear any of it! So you won't be bothered if you are trying to sleep. My only suggestion would be to install smoke eaters in the smoking rooms since you can't open the windows. Otherwise we loved it”

“Absolutely wonderful experience!!! Sarah (and everyone on the farm) was warm and welcoming. Every aspect of our stay went beyond my expectations. Sarah was kind enough to spend way more than an hour answering the barrage of questions I had about her alpacas, running the farm, and the alpaca industry as a whole. I immensely enjoyed the peace and natural beauty provided by the property, but the alpacas also enthralled me. I was hard pressed to leave Long Acres Alpaca Farm, and I cannot wait until I can visit again. Sarah, I truly thank you for the hospitality.”

“I visited the Fairfield Inn on a ghost tour led by the Gettysburg Ghost Exchange. The Inn is very inviting, you feel at home. I loved the antique and period decor and furniture. The hosts were very accommodating and allowed us to view a few rooms when we were there. I'd love to visit there again to dine and spend the night. Highly recommend!”

“This is one of my favorite campgrounds. We have a 33ft class A and use full hookups. They are able to accommodate us easily here. I like the price to stay here. The price of full hookup camping at some places has gone up the last few years so I always like to point out bargains or simply places that are priced right. This place provides good value for the money. They have a nice playground for the kids along with plenty of open space for them to run. There is a well maintained pool as well. It's not an overly crowded campground. The campsites aren't squeezed down like some places have done, so you feel you have some space to spread out a little. The public restrooms are in decent shape, but could use a makeover and more toilets. But what they do have, they keep clean and that's a big bonus in my book. I give granite hill 5 stars for value alone. This is a nice campground that's worth the money.”

“I really like Codorus state park. They have a great campground with nice sites and good clean bathrooms. They also have a great Marina and some very nice disc golf courses. I enjoy going there and watching the sunset, or just sitting and looking out over the water. Make sure you check it out with your family. 5 stars!”
