“As a former staff member at Camp Horseshoe, I found that Dan Beard campsite provides the best scouting experience due to it's all canvas tents for scouts and one of the best maintained sites in the camp. Location wise, it's right in the middle of camp so everything is a short walk away. Personally, I believe it's better than Staff City, which is where the staff members stay.”

“I found this campground 4 years ago and camped here because it was close to the county fair. I have come back every year since. The Staff is great- helpful, accommodating, and always pleasant. My family and I have stayed using the 4 weekend only package so we are not permanent campers. None the less everyone has always been friendly and respectful of one another. This is a decent family oriented, well run, peaceful place to relax and enjoy life. (Even if it is only 4 to 6 weekends a summer) I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the special greeting campers get from Lilly the owner’s beautiful white Golden doodle. ...Truly this place is a Gem in the Mountains... This past year (2018) we got a permanent site. Loved every minute we could spend at the campground. It is late fall now and getting cold. Can't wait for the spring to return. Everyone has been so friendly, just a wonderful relaxed atmosphere.”

“I have spent several weekend camping here with my 7 year old son, this is by far his favorite place to camp. We were just there for there Halloween weekend three and I have to say between the office staff and seasonal campers the experience could not be more enjoyable. Michelle in the office is great and very good with the campers and helping them. The seasonal campers go above and beyond to make the weekend great for the kids. I cant say enough good things about this place.”

“The Richmond House is fantastic. The home is warm and inviting. The rooms are clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The food is delicious, impeccably prepared with great attention to detail. My wife Patty and I have been staying at the Richmond house for several years. Tim and Delores are wonderful hosts, hospitable and attentive to the needs of each guest. The first time we stayed we informed Delores that Patty is allergic to green peppers. She prepared a wonderful breakfast with that in mind and retained that information for all our subsequent visits. We always look forward to our home away from home. We highly recommend this destination for anyone looking for a friendly, quiet, and refreshing stay. The Richmond house is truly an oasis in this bustling world.”

“We just left a little piece of heaven! One of my friends highly recommended Frogtown Acres B&B. We felt like family. We met some wonderful people from Canada and Massachusetts. Joe's wit and sense of humor kept us laughing. Gloria is such a sweet hostess. Always smiling. We will not have difficulty choosing a place to stay on our next vacation. Great friends, DELICIOUS breakfast, and coffee with Amish neighbor, David.#lovethisplace”

“I highly recommend this Veterinary Office. The first few pics are of my almost 17 year old Italian Greyhound Maggie who they absolutely treated with dignity and respect in her final minutes. The other pics are of my 3 year old Rottweiler Magnum. They have an absolute blast with him. From the front desk to the technicians and the doctors, they are wonderful. You will not regret taking your fur babies here.”

“A very nice place for getting outside. Fresh water is available along with tables and a great park setting. The AT (Appalachian trail) passes by shed with water. A short walk along AT south will lead to 2 small Bridges crossing Anthem creek, very pleasant bold running stream. Also a AT shelter is nearby in case of rain. Also, continues along AT for a great walk on well established trail. All in all a great place for a day out in nature.”
