“My family just spent 3 and a half days at the Dragonfly Bed & Breakfasr with our lovely hosts Paul & Michelle. I cannot say enough about how incredibly kind they are and how beautiful their property is. They truly make you feel at home while you are with them. They have a large family and very large hearts. My daughter turned 7 while we were staying and they made her feel so special every day. If you've never stayed at a B&B and want to truly feel like your at home away from home come to the Dragonfly. “The Country View B&B was a excellent place for our two night stay in the Lancaster PA area. Eli and Barbara are wonderful hosts with the gift of hospitality. The local attractions and restaurants they recommended were excellent. Their B&B is immaculate. In addition to the clean and comfortable rooms, there is a very nice sitting room adjacent to the kitchen. The gardens are beautiful, and a stroll around the farm provides one with an opportunity to get close to many animals, including turkeys. The abundant continental breakfast consisted of quiche, baked oatmeal, fresh fruit, cereals, baked goods (with homemade peach jam), and fresh, got coffee. This is a fantastic B&B. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.”

“Went walking today in the snow. Trails have been super well prepared. If I lived here I would buy a pair of cross country skis and be out there everyday. The trail around the lake is relatively flat. Beautiful.”

“Attention! The Merry Inn does not list a physical address, but I've estimated that the GPS coordinates are: 41.194810, -75.250747 It's on 390N just north of the intersection with 447 (not quite the same as where Google maps the PO box). It is a blue Inn on the left with a blue sign. The Merry Inn is a lovely place to stop and relax. I stayed a night to attend a wedding at Skytop (only a couple of miles away). The rooms are clean and nicely furnished and start at about $105/night. The rooms I saw had private baths, but there may be others that share, so ask ahead if that is important to you. There are beautiful touches around the inn from the fresh flowers in the rooms to the delicious home made, made-to-order breakfast (served with local maple syrup). The innkeeper is a retired DC caterer, so the meal is miles better than your typical stale donuts and reheated lukewarm hotel fare. The hostess is incredibly nice and accommodating. The inn is great for someone looking for a pleasant, relaxing evening. But beware if you are tech-addicted, my only critique is a lack of wifi and spotty cell service throughout the area. For others, this is perfect for a true vacation, though.”

“This place is a hidden gem. The hotel is a motor inn, but prices are great for the area. The rooms are clean and neat, and service is good. The restaurant is the real hidden gem, the food is better than far more expensive hotels, and much less costly. I would give the restaurant and bar 6 stars. We ate there 4 nights, with different meals each night, and every one was excellent!!”

“What a great place. The menu items are really tasty and the selection of beer is wonderful. However, what makes or breaks places are the staff. In this case you couldn't find a more fantastic group of people to bring you the best that they have. This says a lot about the great management of this establishment. You can feel a real sense of community warmth with the people. So, if anyone is looking for one of the best burgers around or just to come in and enjoy the beautiful people here...don't wait!
