“Some of the nicest camp sites along this stretch of the river. They are part of the National Park and do require advanced reservations. This is definitely worth doing because at the end of a long adventurous day on the river fighting to find a campsite on the New Jersey side is not what I look forward to. There are only 6 sites which keeps the partying down to a minimum. There are also port-potties which are generally clean.”

“Very clean and easily accessible with room keys. The breakfast at Comfort Inn was much better than most places in the area. Great job by house keeping on the ground floor, we always had fresh towels and bedding each day. I would have given a perfect score but there was a large hole in our closet door.”

“This is no longer a bed and breakfast they were auctioning off the house and all the items in it which is why I went. I was disappointed because they had many of the areas of the home roped-off. However me being me made my way into those areas and took lots of pictures. The auction was okay and I didn't stick around to see how much the place went for however I did catch a ghost on camera which is why I went. Very beautiful place but has been run down the third floor was roped off which is where all the maids servants quarters were and the children's bedroom and playroom. Spoke to a former employee or 14 years and he told me there was much activity within the house meaning Paranormal Activity I didn't get much on my recorder or camera I believe because there were too many people wandering the halls but even on the third floor when there was no one there I didn't catch much. But I will show you the one goes that I did capture.”

“Went away for a girls weekend and had a really great time. Didn't really get a chance to explore all of the activities around the resort because we went just to relax and have a good time. But I will definitely be returning and we'll try some of the activities the resort offers and there are plenty. This place is huge and you definitely need a map to get around on some of the roads the lighting could have been a little bit better but other than that I had a nice time.”

“Great Retreat Location for churches, organizations and even families. They had the best price in the Poconos by far and had the cleanest buildings our group had ever seen. All of their facilities have been remodeled within the last few years. The staff was courteous and kind - there food was excellent. We will definitely be back next year!”

“Full five star in every area! Already became one of my favorite family vacation spot. Staff is amazingly helpful and forthcoming. They have a nice gift shop in the office area also selling any item one can need for camping like charcoal etc. great thing is the prices are amazingly cheap and owners haven’t jacked up the prices. This shows the commitment of this campground management toward making the stay of customers as enjoyable as possible. Keep up the good work!”

“I am a camper there for the summer camp. It is an all girls christian camp. To learn more go on their website. The food is good. And the cabins are very clean as well as the bathrooms. I personally loved it because I felt very welcome it is a very comforting atmosphere. It isn't very expensive because all their profits go to the Mt. Gilead ministry. overall I loved it.”
