“Rooms are big, clean, and the staff is great. Last stay, I was on the 7th floor, at many hotels there would be no hot water at 7:00 am and lousy water pressure, I was surprised to find plenty of hot water and water pressure was great !! The elevator ride is cool, windows to watch the ride up/down. And, the parking scheme is very good. I bailed on another hotel because the walk to the front door was stupid long (parking was in the back, and long walk in 25 degree weather). Here, it's a relatively short walk from wherever you park. Oh, I did I mention the rooms are big?”

“Great value for the price. Staff went over and above to address one of my needs. Would definitely stay there again when going to Philly. I love the closeness to the airport”

“This turned out to be a terrific alternative to the higher-priced hotels in downtown Philadelphia. This bed and breakfast is in the Germantown section of Philly. The host family was extremely nice and provided a continental style breakfast. The muffins were homemade and delicious. It was fun to eat a family style breakfast with the other people staying there. The rooms were clean & cozy with a homestyle comfort. There was plenty of on-street parking so I was able to just leave my car and take a Lyft into the city saving me the aggravation of trying to find a spot downtown. Great experience.”

“We had a red-eye to phl due to weather setbacks with a 4 hour layover and were dead tired. We went to check it out and my priority pass membership got us an hour free plus only $28 an hour after that. I was so tired I would've paid more. The suite was adequate, a bed with another pull out bed underneath and a desk. They offer a wake up for you and there is a white noise generator to block out sounds. It was so great and I slept for about 2.5hrs. Perfect!”

“We truly enjoyed our stay at this Hilton Garden Inn. It was a good location, outside of Philly proper, but not that far from Chestnut Hill. The bar and breakfast areas in the lobby were comfortable and nicely decorated. However, what impressed us most about the hotel was the personnel. From the welcoming front desk staff to the maids, everyone was helpful, friendly, and had a smile on their faces.”

“Ed and Sherri’s inn is GORGEOUS!! We rented the entire house for the night before our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier we did so! We were greeted by them, with a snack and a glass of wine. All 4 bedrooms at the inn are beautiful, and each has its own shower. The property is so spacious and well kept and beautiful! All new renovation. Ed’s artwork is so interesting and unique and adds a lovely touch to the entire place. Plus, we had a bon fire in their fire pit, and they even helped us out by picking up firewood for us! They also have a pool, but it was closed for the season (end of September). But, the best part of all is that BREAKFAST!!! Ed and Sherri cooked up the most decadent and delicious breakfast for us, and even accommodated my dietary restrictions! We cannot wait to have an excuse to stay here again! Even if it’s just that we need a relaxing get away on a farm for an evening!”

“The Manayunk Chambers Guest House is just a fantastic gem in the heart of lovely Manayunk. The owner, Mark, is a professional baker and chef who prepares fresh baked pastries each morning -- scones and muffins and such -- and serves them alongside delicious crepes with fruit and meats and cheese and coffee. A perfect way to start the day. The house itself is fantastic. It is decorated like a 19th C. salon with art and beautiful furniture and a piano. We had a gas fireplace in our room and a beautiful bathroom with an amazing shower (and a bidet!). Wine, beer, coffee, tea, and snacks were available around the clock. Most important, Mark is just a kind and wonderful host who pays attention to every detail and is responsive to even the smallest query. He loves what he does and love chatting with guests. He's a great host. I can't recommend this place highly enough. We will definitely be returning.”

“I moved in back in March 2018. My husband and I love it here. There is a lot to do, and all the people are very friendly. Glad to be in a good community with people who are so nice.”

“Wonderfully charming and well kept old hotel, the rooms felt more like a bedroom than a hotel room but we're private and very well appointed. Staff was exceedingly nice. Imagine fresh baked cookies in the lobby, apple-stuffed french toast for breakfast. Fire pits, beautiful manicured grounds. Fabulous wedding venue too. Well worth the visit.”

“Stayed here for New Year's Eve 2018. What an incredible place! It was literally 2 degrees out. Between the fireplace and the lovely accommodations, there was no reason to leave. My fiance and I brought in the New Year in a very beautiful and romantic setting. The owners and staff are very nice and responsive to any inquiries. Great proximity to the town of New Hope. I would go there again in a heartbeat!”

“If you have business, in our case a wedding, in the heart of Philadelphia this is a great place to park your RV and they are very Tiny House friendly. Philly traffic is rough but it's about 18 minutes to the tourist attractions downtown. You will have to move to the dump station there if you plan a long stay. Does not have hookups including waste.”

“I was recently at HollyHedge Estate attending a wedding reception. I would never have even known it was there if I hadn't been looking for it. The grounds were private, and beautiful. Valet parking was great. The food was excellent and the wait staff friendly and helpful. Drinks and dancing were fun, and honestly, I can't think of anything to complain about or suggest as far as an improvement. I can't speak to pricing or dealing with them on the business end, but as a guest, I'd say it's certainly worth your consideration if you're looking for a venue for a social gathering of your own. Just a great place and experience overall. Thank you HollyHedge Estate for a wonderful evening, and another congratulations to the lovely couple we were there to celebrate!”
