“Love this park. It's a mix of native trees, flowers and meadow overlooking the creek below which features a renovated walking trail. There's currently a farmer's market summer-November too.”

“It is a nice park. Good walking paths, tennis courts and basketball courts. The childrens playground equipment is fair. Borough doesn't seem to give the park it the regular maintenance it needs though. Fortunately it is in a community that cares.”

“This is actually Westcolang, not West Colang. It's not really a park, but rather a cottage community around Westcolang Lake.”

“Nice staff that is very helpful. Some of the camping lots were better than others, we stayed in #10 which was secluded a little more than the others which was perfect. The facilities are not 5 star, but that's not what we were worried about.”

“At the last minute, after being at a terrible private campsite, we booked online. We had a wonderful time! It was clean, beautiful and we would definitely go back again. The hosts were wonderful and helpful also. The beach and lake were great! The views were wonderful! Would highly recommend! Very family friendly!”

“How very interesting Down a country lane ...in beautiful Pennsylvania farm land....a puece ic or American history. The french and Indian war was both here when it was wilderness. While it is not wilderness anymore, it is still quiet and certainly not urban.”

“They have done a great job so far, can’t wait to see finished project. Our family loves it.”

“The parking area here has space for about 6 cars depending on how tight they park. The trailhead is well defined as you follow the light blue blazes along the way. The trail starts with a small stream crossing and lots of butterflies when we were here. Very flat at the beginning but gets rocky and steep as you ascend the ridge when some lovely vistas open up. The titular blueberry plants dot the trail here and there, but as always, don't go eating any wild berries unless you really know what you are doing. There are a few areas where the trail isn't as defined and the path could use a few more trail makings, but as long as you stay aware getting lost shouldn't really be a problem. Came across one rattlesnake keeping warm in the rocks at the top and just kept our distance.”
