Riverwalk

Beautiful area along the Catawba River, just south of Charlotte.

Beautiful area. Very scenic with the bridge there. Lots of interesting places to eat and drink. I dropped one star because the parking can be difficult. Quite a bit of it is for Pump House customers only.

Beautiful paved nature walk beside the Catawba River! A great place to come and stroll as well as get a measured walk. (This is NOT a gym.)

One of the next walking/biking/running places around. There are always a bunch of cute families out there with their kids. So you have to be a little cautios. It's beautiful. Goes right along the Catawba River, is paved, and has many place to sit and rest, or go "off-road" and explore. There are also a network of bike trails there. I wanna go ride then.

Hours are 7 days a week From Dawn till Dusk. Great place for a walk/bike or you can even go kayaking and tubing down the river.
