“Was placed here after 4 month stay in Baptist Hospital. Needed medical care and physical therapy so I could get strong enough to walk. I found this facility to be medically about the same as a hospital nursing unit. I received excellent care from the nurses, nurse practitioners, and doctors who cared for me. The physical therapy dept was 5 stars and especially therapist Emily who got me back on my feet again. I can’t say enough good things about her and the treatment I received in the physical therapy dept. The only area I found lacking was the dietary operation. I had lost 85 pounds and was trying to put the weight back on but encountered difficulty in getting enough to eat , even when I went to the cafeteria in my wheelchair. Dietary staff were surly and acted like they were being put out by having to feed myself and the elderly residents. Other than that I found my month and a half of skilled nursing care to be totally acceptable.”
