The staff here is friendly and makes you feel welcome. Abby is awesome! As a side note they have the best sweet tea in town. If I had to think of a negative for me it's a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Get a beef and cheddar brisket add mushrooms on white, and you will not be disappointed!”

“Easy breezy checking in and out. Breakfast was set up really nicely with a decent amount of options. They’re all basic hotel breakfast level in taste, but that was my expectation. I’m admittedly east to please if there are bagels, but their little slicer and toaster were really great! One round warmed it up and the next perfectly toasted it 😍 I was happy to see there was a nondairy milk option as well. The little cups with salsas and toppings for eggs or potatoes was on a very cold slab, which unfortunately meant half the cup was frozen. However, I think that helps them stay at a safe temp the full serving time and I didn’t need much for my personal plate. I thought it was very thoughtful of them to have drink carriers and cups with lids and straws available to make it easier for those on the go. Their tea selection is also very nice & we had a voucher in our room for a discount on a drink at their bar. They also offer a limited menu of barista style coffee drinks at the bar in the morning.”

“I'm currently relocating from several hours away and my home is closing faster than expected. I have spent the last week looking in Austin and the surrounding areas. I've looked at other Sun Communities and other mobile home communities not owned by Sun and can honestly say that out of everyone I've spoken to they have been both the most hospitable and knowledgeable out of everyone. San Marcos is a little further out than what I preferred but I would rather make the drive and live somewhere I felt comfortable then save a few dollars and be miserable. They will absolutely have my business.”

“The room seems a bit dated, and at the very least needs a decent maintenance person to come through. The A/C units front face is falling off, the shower pan caulking is cracking and browning. Overall, it's not bad, just minor stuff. The service, the front desk was helpful, but my room wasn't ready for me for almost an hour PASTA the 3pm check-in time, despite arriving at 2:15pm, and the front desk asking the cleaning staff if it was done and ready several times, always getting "15 more minutes and it'll be done". Finally, the front desk lady went up to the room herself, and saw it was done, and got me checked in and a room key. Very thankful for that! The breakfast is basic, but quite tasty, and plenty of it. Their serving time is good too, 6am start! Only ice machine is on the first floor by the main lobby, so that part sucks, but also very minor. Overall, I'm enjoying my stay, on night 2 out of 13!”

There are several hotels and businesses in that area that have been built in the last 5 years. Very pretty upscale area. Chick-fil-A is within walking distance.”

“Great food , large portions. Fast service, the only issue with this restaurant is the service. The staff are friendly, however once you get your food , you are likely not going to see your server again for refills , this was our second time visiting this restaurant so we do enjoy the food. But it's uncommon to go to a breakfast restaurant and have to ask for refills of coffee and water. We spent an hour at this restaurant and had to stop our server and ask for coffee and water refills . Definitely a coaching opportunity.”

If you choose to ride the provided bicycles that was fun also. The fire pit and grill area is so nice on a cool fall evening. I would definitely stay here again”

“I've lived here for about 7 months, and it's been amazing. The fact that it's a gated community makes it very safe. Allentown has a very friendly environment, people like to walk around at night, and are able to because of how safe it is, and even though it's night time the streets are very bright from all the street lights, unlike my old neighborhood. The manager and everyone in the office are so friendly, and attentive. Allentown is definitely a place I can call home, and can see myself raising a family here in future.”

The kitchen setup available in the room and utensils given to us were sufficient for the basic cooking. The only problem is the cleaning service is provided after 14 days only. If you want to clean the rooms before that you need to pay $10 every time.”
