“Germany’s 800-year-old seaport, Hamburg, played host to Rotary International last week, and my wife and I were there, thanks to Dr. Lina Marouf and the staff at Retina Associates of South Texas. The afternoon before our flight, I was stunned to see brightly colored lights in one eye. Reached after hours, Dr. Marouf said to be at the office at 8 am. The staff kept me moving through intake, prep, the exam and checkout so we could be back at home for our ride to the airport at mid-morning. I’m grateful for the “service beyond service” from Retina Associates of South Texas.”

“I love to dance, but an injury to my ankle made it difficult to even walk without straining those muscles. During the free initial consultation and treatment they located the actual cause of my issues and I came out feeling so good. “I had a lap-band surgery six years ago, and have not really loved it from the beginning. I wanted an "easy" fix, and that isn't what weight loss surgery IS. I still had to plan and eat right and do all the right things and I wasn't doing that. Add to the fact that six years ago, the office had a different fill person, and I didn't set myself up for success. I ended up with an over-filled band for three+ years because I didn't mesh with the person that was doing fills! I recently went in because my discomfort was just too much to handle, thinking that my band slipped or some other major issue, and the new fill person, Nicole Harris changed my life! She took the time to listen to me and reduced the fill in my band, improving how I feel exponentially. I started weight watchers recently, and am hopeful the combo of a working lap-band and the program will really help me become healthier. Thanks Nicole. You changed my life this week! ”

I have anxiety, and when I got there the first time after getting a tear in my right eye, Dr Lina M. and the staff checked on me constantly also checked my blood pressure And reassured me and told me it was going to be OK, I got through it ! even a couple days later after I went in for my actual eye surgery they were amazing Dr Luna M. and staff were absolutely incredible”
