“Just had a new patient appointment. Admittedly, my two young boys were acting a little crazy and disruptive, but the staff was patient, kind, and helpful. Then, we meet Dr. Mastrovich and he was even more pleasant. He went above and beyond to educate me, answer all my questions, and present me with a written plan for my son at the end of the visit. Did I mention my 2 year old was basically screaming the whole time? And yet, Dr. Mastrovich never became impatient with us. Excellent excellent physician who knows his stuff! Highly recommend.”

Although, I didn't know this but you can schedule your visit online and even check wait times, which can be very useful! Stephanie took wonderful care of me, really listened, and made an effort to make conversation. She also explained everything to me thoroughly, from why I was experiencing my symptoms, to how to treat them, and next steps should they persist. I didn't know what to expect, because I just went there based off of what my insurance would cover, but it's definitely a better alternative to an urgent care facility. Would recommend!”

The thing that I found most satisfying what's that when I indicated that I would prefer a high level of pressure, they did not disappoint. When you ask for high pressure deep tissue this is definitely the place to go.”

““Flashing my Toothy Grin at Fossil" Today I had my first dental appointment post retirement and was greeted warmly by the receptionist at the Fossil Creek Dental Office. Since I booked a lunchtime appointment, I was hoping to be in and out and luckily for me that was the case. I was handed my paperwork and within minutes, Jackie ( who' Birthday was today and has a Bday in December like me) was taking my x-rays. She was quick and efficient and we chatted it up about having the same name and Birthday. Her energy and positive vibes put me at ease as the Dentist still makes my knees shake even as an adult. I hopped in the chair and soon was relaxed lounging back listening to some soulful Christmas music. Dr. Peter Almquist came in and the first thing he did was "Thank me for my Military Service"! As an AF Veteran and recent Army retiree, I settled into my chair knowing that a fellow AF Vet would be working on my pearly whites. We briefly swapped stories and with no cavities present ( Does Happy Dance ) Dr. A began my cleaning. My service was smooth, pain free and with the Christmas music soothing me, the one appointment I fear year round was over and done with. His touch was light and his smile was calming. I glanced at a Cross in the woman's bath room and smiled because I knew I had a Provider of Faith ...as a fellow believer, I Prayed before my appointment for Good News and No Cavities and Thank God, I had None. Within the hour I was flashing my toothy grin and ready to head back to work. I was in and out in a little over 45 minutes and am glad the VA outsourced me to this convenient location off of Bulverde. The parking was adequate, the location a short distance from work and home and now my new Dental location of choice. A Great Experience, a Blessed Provider and a HIGHLY Recommended Physician ...
