“I have an extremely long history in the psychiatry/psychology field as a mother with two challenged children- also being a military family we were in one place just long enough for the new physician to finally believe they were confident with their diagnosis and the medications prescribed. My oldest was in two mental hospitals along this journey and a teacher warned me to get the school involved for special education for my son when he reached 5 th grade (504 plan and I recommend that to any parent with severe ADHD child). We did weekly family counseling and saw the dr once a month for prescriptions. That all was a learning curve for our family. My husband retired and we moved to San Antonio we had a bad experience with the dr our insurance provided but the counselor Ms Johnnie Walker was a true Godsend with her experience and compassion and tough love street smarts she recommended Dr Ted Williams and the first couple of appointments he was able to discern the behavioral roots and diagnose the formula for giving everyone in our family a better life, including myself. He was amazing!! So passionate about his work and the thought he put in to pinpoint the cognitive issues and balancing the bodies chemicals to make an optimum performing individual! Truley his motto is "to help you live your best life" he is faith based, but the center of everything his knowledge could give was prescribing counseling that we learned affirmation is the best way to parent a child allowing the child to make his choice and us to stand behind the agreement.. I could go much much deeper than most would fathom, unless you're reading this review and you know already the challenge. I recommend Dr Ted Williams above ANY other I've experienced. “After my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s my father continued to care for her until his health prevented him from doing so. It was a difficult decision for the entire family. We regret that we placed her in a large facility at the beginning. The care at the corporate place was awful. It felt cold and she was just another slot filled in their rotation, her clothes would disappear and she Never seemed groomed. We checked on her daily to stay on top of them and had constant anxiety. Then someone referred us to Sam’s place.What a huge difference!!!!!!! It was intimate, warm and caring. Food is baked and homemade! Moms clothes smelled wonderful. The care and dignity was amazing and they took the time to make sure everything she needed was given to her. Sam and his staff work as a team and it was flawless. For the first time since moms diagnosis we all had peace of mind that she was getting the care she Deserved❤️We are so thankful to Sam and his staff and are entirely grateful to them.”

“I took my adult son who is challenged to Dental Plus clinic this morning. This clinic was selected by United Health Care, the insurance provided by Medicaid.I found Marlin in the front office, to be one of the best I have had the pleasure to work with in the 32 years I have administrated my sons affairs. Marlin is a professional in her job, who explained everything to my son so he understood because he had to sign his own paperwork. And Marlin was social to me while my son was in the chair. My son talked with me after the visit and said the following “paraphrased”. The dentist was nice to me. When asked if he felt comfortable and trusted the dentist he said yes. Same with the dental assistant. All in all the experience was great for me (father), and more importantly my son felt comfortable and was able to trust the dentist and assistant on the first occasion. Which was a urgent care situation.”
