“I am so excited there is such a wonderful shop for kids’ hair cuts in lake highlands and Tye is such a fantastic owner. I brought my 4 year old in today, and she got the special treatment since she was the only kiddo in there. After her hair cut we were both pleasantly surprised about being able to get her nails painted - and then to top it off she got a balloon and lollipop. Tye made My daughter feel so special which meant a lot since we have a newborn at home and the whole reason I took her out was so she could get some special 1:1 time. “My experience was great! From the front desk staff, to the tech and dental hygienist, and doctor. I was greeted with a warm welcome and the office manager was very pleasant in assisting me with my finances and breaking things down for me. The tech was very nice and the dental hygienist was the SWEETEST! Esther really took her time and was very informative. Doctor Chahine was also very sweet and took her time with me, even when I had an anxiety attack she was very patient and checked on me throughout my visit. As much as this could have been a horrible experience, the staff made my visit so much smoother and did all they needed to do to make me very comfortable. Very happy with my experience and I definitely recommend this location!”

“What a treasure Northaven Co-op has been to our children and our family. The school has amazing teachers who inspire children to explore, create and discover through hands on learning experiences. The bright and large classrooms are filled with sensory tables, manipulatives, art-play tools, and other sensory rich materials that get children involved in problem solving and parallel play. We have enjoyed the unique opportunity of co-oping in our children's classrooms. It has been incredibly rewarding to get to be involved and know what a typical school day is like through our children's eyes. Through co-oping, we've also gotten to know the other children and families very well which creates a nice community to be a part of. We feel so fortunate to have found Northaven. My oldest, who is now a first grader, still talks about the Co-op and looks forward to going back every summer for the art camps that are offered. Northaven Co-op is a rare and precious gem of a school. There's truly nothing else like it.”

I'm not sure if it's strictly enforced, but be aware before going. There isn't any other convenient parking location nearby so get here a little earlier than you planned for. Trails lead to the top of the levee or to the bottom of the river depending on where you want to urban hike.”
