“Check in went smoothly, room was generously proportioned with a nice view, clean and comfortable. Bathroom sink drain stopper was broken, shower head too high for my height and taste, fridge made such a racket we had to unplug and elevator for under ground parking was not operational. Turning into hotel is difficult if traffic is heavy and you really have to know where to turn or you miss entrance.”

“Was traveling from Galveston and after one hour stuck in traffic at 11pm( yes Houston traffic is almost non stop) we decided to stay the night but my credit card was maxed out so we had 40 bucks. This place is old but its got character. For just under 40 we got a bed, shower, and a full size fridge in the kitchen. The lady was very nice, considering the area of town, and it was surprisingly quiet. One of the best low budget motels I have stayed at.”

“The staff in this hotel are amazing!! From the front desk to the cleaning staff. The location is a perfect meeting place for me and a friend so we frequent it often. It’s also minutes to the Beltway which will take you in any direction you want to go. Just one note... the whirlpool tub didn’t work and there was only enough hot water for half of the tub. The room was an upgrade so I’m definitely not complaining but it is something that needs attention.”

“Stayed here in the Wyman suite. It was a romantic anniversary. They room was so beautiful, it had has a living room type area with a fireplace. That really set the night. Michelle use to be there. She had a bottle of wine for us. She showed us around and then gave us our privacy. In the morning she had cooked us the most amazing breaking I think I've ever had. Also she made this bacon that I still crave for and can't accomplish!!! She made our stay amazing! It's for sure a place to be seen. I will be staying here again. I just hope the new keep is as good as the last! Thank you for this little diamond in la porte!”
