“I come to Port Aransas Texas every October to write for a month. After having such a difficult year, having lost my mother and two very close family friends within 6 months I was sad and exhausted. A very close friend told me of a jewelry store in Corpus Christi that not only had been a fabulous store for them but it was filled with large specimens of natural rocks and precious minerals that they had collected. I walked in and met Victoria (Vicki) and Fred Mitchell who immediately felt like family.
