“This guy is a prime example of what a specialist should be. Over the past year, my peripheral vision has been decreasing, and nobody knows why. I was passed around to several doctors and specialists that would run simple tests, look at the results, and tell me the test came back normal so they don't know. Done with me.... Dr Conley ran his tests, and after they came back normal, jumped into action with more ideas. "Let's try this then, let's do that then", idea after idea to try to track down what is causing this. While every other doctor seems to be more interested in how fast they can complete your appointment and charge you for a same test 20 times with the same line of "hm, idk, bye", Dr. Conley actually has a genuine interest in your situation and his profession. Because my issue is very strange, we have still not found a way to resolve it yet, but he has been the only doctor to actually find ways to cause it to fluctuate and change, and see changes through therapies he has tried. Doctors at places like UT Southwestern have not even been able to do that. Long appointments, takes time to discuss your thoughts and answer questions, and more knowledgeable than other doctors 20 years older than him in this same field.
