“I like to come here and walk around, but its basically a pretty field next to a busy road. walk away from the road and there is a pretty quiet area. But there is not much else. Stagnant creek. Tall brush. Maybe a spot to take a walk in the grass or fly a kite. But no play area, no designated parking. Definitely not handicap accessible.”

“This park has lots of personality. Multiple playgrounds for kids with tons of shade spots. This place has a lot of nice details. Sitting areas with shade. A volleyball court, a shaded turf area with bridges. Paths are small and paved with lots of trees. Beautiful scenery. It's on the smaller side but well worth the trip.”

It's small (about a quarter acre) and there's not a ton of amenities, but it's a great space to take a book on a nice day and sit on a bench for awhile. “Beautiful campground! Our site was #2 which had great views of the lake from our van, however you can't go wrong with any of them. There are 10 altogether. If I had to choose again, I'd choose site #1 because of the shade and its own personal view of the lake. Do be careful of spiders in the restrooms! Seriously! The movie Arachnophobia had nothing on these bathrooms. The entire restroom was covered with spiders. There were even signs on the urinals to Not Use because all the spiders in them! Eeks!”

“A beautiful little township park. The park offers a nice walk through forests - very colorful this time of year, as well as open prairie and some small water features that attract ducks and geese. It has nice improvements provided by local scouts and is well maintained. The only slight downside is the entrance/parking location off Warner Road can feel dark and remote - I don’t mind but some may not feel safe. A nice place to walk and enjoy nature.”
