(February 14, 2022, 11:19 am)The Overlook Park park is another hidden gem of Georgetown lake. Here you can find a beautiful view of the lake, paved road through the dam, natural trails, and places to swim during summertime. The park has a restroom, plenty of trash bins, but a relatively small number of parking lots.

Boats get a bit too close
(February 15, 2021, 4:17 am)Great little park that connects to an extensive trail system with generally easy hikes. Great for all ages and experience levels. I'm using as a regular place to break in new boots and work up my hiking bag weights for some planned big trips. It's a good starting place, but I'll need to find more difficult places to train as I get into better shape.
