Beds made everyday and nothing was taken, which was a plus because I had to leave my computer a couple of days. “The rooms were modern and clean and HUGE! We stopped for a night on our way through and as soon as we walked in around 7pm on Tues. 8/27 the two working the front desk were SO helpful and SO nice! Then the beds were like clouds so we slept great! To top it off we woke up to a delicious breakfast with a great smile and welcoming from Michelle. She walked around and greeted everyone individually and learned about their travels and made the morning feel bright and cheerful! Best hotel stay yet on our week long road trip! Thank you!”

“Camp Wisdom, owned by the Dallas Circle 10 Council of the BSA, has been around for decades. It is particularly known for support of shooting sports; rifle, pistol, and shotgun. The three ranges are excellent and extremely well maintained by a very active shooting sports committee. Even though it is only 20 miles from our Scout Troop meeting place, we had not been there, as we are in a different Council. We have two certified instructors in our Troop so we went there this past weekend. The temperatures were still Texas Summer like (highs mid-90s, low 75, and very humid) but we had a great time anyway. All Scouts who needed it qualified for the merit badge. We did not check out the rest of the camp, but it looked good on the way by.”

“This is my second experience with the camp. I had a family reunion there in July '14 that was well received overall My second visit was on June 8, '19. There's still lots of room and plenty of activity. The putt putt golf area needed supervision and lawn maintenance. I enjoyed the zip line which was new. We brought our own food; but, I didn't hear any complaints about the camp's food. The map of the resort can stand improvement because some visitors said the map misled them to and from the areas away from the main family areas. In closing, I look forward to my next visit to experience what I missed.”

“I stayed here for 5 days (Sunday, September 15th - Friday September 20th) and am very happy and satisfied overall! The lobby is beautifully decorated. Very modern and spacious! The wall decor and lighting in the rooms is of very good taste. The entire hotel staff, from the front desk personnel to the cleaning staff were very attentive and friendly. They go above and beyond to make your experience top priority! Always clean towels, and clean bedding. The entire hotel is kept so clean and it always smells clean! Fresh complimentary breakfast every morning. The Tourist Travel Center is across the road (I-10). Wyndham has done a great job with this hotel!”

“We were very pleased with this Best Western. The location was conveniently located on the interstate and we could get into San Antonio without difficulty. It was clean, clean, clean. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was great. Hot eggs, meat, potatoes and sometimes biscuits with gravy. The landscaping and flowers were beautifully maintained. The staff, especially John Castillo, was friendly and very helpful. We'd stay here again!!”

“I RATE IT AS 5 stars only because this place should be your last resort, unless your a saint. The one who is in charge of managing the property, is lazy, if you ask him to do something, you will have to constantly remind him and even then it will take him like a month to get something done. The owner of the property is an “unreasonable man” to put it nicely. He will find a way to charge you for nearly anything, will not listen to your reason for anything. You get charged 450 as a security deposit in addition to 400 for the month. Water and trash bill included. Many people have told me that he never gives the 450 deposit back. So just be ready to say goodbye to that. The property has had an increase of security problems with in the past year. If you’re “fortuned” enough to get in, your top priority should be saving to buy a property of your own, you will avoid a lot of stress.”
