“Tl;dr you get what you pay for. Check in was easy enough, I would recommend an upstairs room if you have the choice, this gives you two lockable doors from the outside world. The two queens seem larger than regular queens which is a plus. The rooms are rather small but the cable package is large. Being right across from the beach is a huge plus, but the lack of reliable parking is a downside. Great for college trips to Galveston.”

“This is the first place we have been to with our new camper. We went for Memorial Day weekend and we loved it! We have 3 kids and 2 dogs (who are large), and it was very comfortable for everyone. The pool was nice and my girls spent hours swimming. The spaces aren’t to cramped and everyone seemed respectful of each other. It wasn’t over crowded and the staff were really friendly. I just hope they get the store in the felt done soon.”

“I loved this place it was very spacious. The couches were a bit outdated and none of the rooms had any ceiling fans. So when sleeping at night it was hot. We stayed in the 3 bedroom and we had more than enough room. It was a great stay. The pool was a good size but didn't have any bathrooms by so you have to walk all the way back to your room. If you asked me I would definitely recommend this place.”

My only suggestion would be that the fans and the jacuzzi be checked my room the jacuzzi tub did not turn on and the other bedroom the fan did not turn on and the TV get de programs could not get the one in my bedroom to work but everything else was very nice just needs a little bit more maintenance”

“This is Kenneth Davis my wife passed but I still use the club Newport resources available. I stayed here 1 weeks during which time each of my children and their children came up at different times. They all loved it. They were impressed with the lodging we had the 4 pools the rec center mini golf tennis beautiful sunsets and VERY friendly staff and are ready to come back.”

I went here when i was in Girl scouts in like 3rd-4th grade and I'm 21 now lol . they have alot of activities (canoeing, archery) very fun. activity night was the best ! i love all the memories my troop made here ! "at camp with the girl scouts they gave us a drinkk we thought it was koolaid bc it was pink" lol dont drink that bug juice !”

“Very nice location. Dogs are welcome here. We checked out NASA while in the area, that's another great spot I recommend. The breakfast is well stocked and they have great coffee. I recommend bringing a coffee cup. The ones they provide are the size of a thimble. I recommend this place.”

“This is a good easy place to stay. Everything was very clean and lady at the front desk was nice. My main concerns with a room is the cleanliness, quietness, and air conditioning. This hotel was good on all counts. The wifi is not the fastest, but it works well enough to stream video without issue. There is some breakfast stuff but I did not eat any. The room I was in had a small kitchen with a range and sink. I would stay here again if I needed to. I just ate Wendy's and watched some already downloaded video.”
