“I stayed here last week. Room was immaculately clean. No foulness of any kind. You can tell the owners are working to maintain the facility non stop, and it shows. If you’re worried about safety, don’t, by far the safest lot in town, which goes on lockdown from midnight to 6am. I’ve stayed in some of the “nicer” places in SA, this place is better. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone”

“Stayed here for 5 nights. Room was good and what you would expect. Had no issues at all. Kids loved the pool. The breakfast area was small and very crowded but the food was great! The staff at night was helpful and kind. I would highly recommend this place.”

“This place is improving nicely. My favorite about this place is they have all and I mean ALL the awesome movie channels, HBO, Showtime, cinemax, I love to go there just to loaf and watch movie all day. It's under new ownership and the couple running it now are very helpful and beyond nice. This place used to have a bad name, but be the new owners it's greatly improving!! I'll definitely go back to catch up on my movies soon!!”

“I stayed at this hotel often. Weekly rates are far lower then most. Rooms are Clean. Andy and Kelley are the managers and that make sure everything is taken care of. Sam the night clerk greets everyone with a smile. For the price and the location bet I'm staying again. It's my home between homes.”

“Overall, a decent place to stay but not for anybody who might want or expect extra frills. The safe in the room did not work and the TV remote control was a bit tricky to figure out. One of the days, the master key was left in the room lock (so anybody could have gotten into the room or any other room really) and the room did not appear to have been cleaned (both of which weekend kind of weird). Extra points if you are from Illinois because the proprietors love to talk about being from Springfield LOL. Pretty decent breakfast too for free breakfast.”

“Staff was excellent. Pool was good. Bed was soft. Ac didnt get cold and ran all night, informed the front desk at check out and they immediately had the maintenance people on the phone and sent up to the room before we left. Would definitely stay again.”

“My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms were very clean. Customer service was excellent! Breakfast was made of scrambled eggs,egg white omelet with veggies, sausage, oatmeal, milk, juices, bread, cinnamon rolls, yogurt and more things. They have an indoor pool, work out area, office area and more. Great place to stay with the family!”

“It was a good stay enjoyed it. Only problem was that it smelled like marijuana all night and even inside the room. Probably the people next to us. Staff was friendly. self parking was 27$. Cookie was good had the balcony room had a refrigerator and safe. The shower was nice. Free coffee and enough towels. I requested a high floor and ended up in the 25 story, great view I could even see downtown Houston.”

“This is our go to place when visiting Houston, Sugar Land. The rooms are very clean, closets are oversized, separate area for toilets and bathing. An acceptable desk, chair and wifi, couch included. Beds are super comfortable and may be memory foam. Just 1 block off 59, so noise is not a problem. It is hidden in the back door of Brazos shopping center on Reading Road.”

“Many of the people who currently stay at this hotel are longterm stays. Some are elderly on fixed incomes, many are workers who are here for a few weeks to months to oversee the construction work on i10. The hotel is safe, very affordable, is run on the backs of loyal and tenacious employees, and you can't beat that pool on a hot Texas day! Although some things in the rooms are outdated, they recently got new A/C units for many of the rooms and are in the process of ordering all new furniture. The front building is almost ready to open and will stand as the Lobby for The Brooke Hotel, and will also have a restaurant inside. Many bad reviews have been written about this hotel but I believe those reviews were written by persons of whom had a set standard in mind and booked the cheapest hotel they could find in the area with the assumption that they would receive more than what they expected... If you judge a fish on it's ability to climb a tree, so on so forth. 5 stars from me!”

“This is a very convenient to I10 hotel in Brookshire, TX. It is clean and breakfast was the usual hotel variety. The bed was comfortable. The only thing we missed was a USB port somewhere in the room and more than one towel peg in the bathroom. Still giving it 5 stars because cleanliness and a good night's sleep is most important of all.”
