“I love this place. It's definitely one of my favorite and regular places to go to that's not such a long drive away. I feel instantly de-stressed and relaxed when I walk to the edge of the yard and look out over the water in the evenings! The property is we'll kept and the house and porch areas are very clean. The floating boat dock has been we'll kept up and there is plenty of room for all activities. When the burn ban is not in effect, you can use the large decorative fire pit and creative outdoor seating placed around the ring. I just love the way the property is laid out to give maximum privacy! The kids beg me to take them there! If you are looking for a relaxing and slightly rugged outdoor vacation but want to also have the conveniences that a cabin or cottage provides then this is definitely a place to be!”

“The location was amazing!! 1 mile to the beach and close to shops and restaurants! Our room was a good size and clean! The breakfast was pretty good with a lot of variety. The beds could have been more comfortable and the walls seemed a little thin—we could hear when our neighbor was running water. Overall, it was great and we will definitely stay again!”

“A gem in a nice area near the lake. Wow the bathrooms were very nice although we didn’t need them as we were in an RV. The pavilion was very nice and I was able to work there outside and enjoy the weather and grazing deer. The host helped to get WiFi up and running after being down. Very nice camp host and helped us locate and get into our site. If the area we stayed in had more tree coverage for better sun protection I would have given it five stars. Enjoyed our stay.”

“Just spent two weeks here in site #48. Great view of the lake from my site, which had nice shade. I have stayed here before in some of the more crowded areas, but this loop was the best. The sites are not close together and it was even quiet on the weekends. Had 3 5G bars most of the time. Park is beautifully maintained. Tip: dump station near entrance is on a slant, so go to the one on the far side of the campground. It’s level and a breeze to use.”

“PEACE AND QUIET I've been here twice for extended stays, no matter what time of year it's still wonderful. Large RV sites with pull through options. Clean laundry room/office/restroom with shower. Tent sites available on the water (rumor has it there are fish) where there is a great meadow for walking and enjoying the sunset. Pet friendly with a dog park. Camp fire circle, shaded gazebo, and lots of deer. Privately owned with great communication.”

“Really great experience. The waffle station is really awesome and the rooms were clean, basic hotel room. The pool is really cool and lots of room to grill, swim, and sit outside and enjoy the evening. The staff was very kind and helpful. Overall a great place to stay and it doesn't break the pocket.”

“We stayed here on night during the middle of the week. The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and modernized. The bathroom was clean and modernized, with decent water pressure and temperatures. The parking spaces ($9/night) are small, but the hotel wasn't full, so we fit without worrying about hitting another car with our door or something trying to get in and out. There is an elevator for those who have trouble with stairs. Breakfast had hot food again, which was nice. We enjoyed our stay.”

“Very easy and low pressure experience. Tom Campitelli was a breeze to work with and we felt zero pressure to buy. The different departments were in contact throughout the week the RV was being prepped for us and when we came to pick it up our new travel trailer was spotless and everything was ready to go. Donald was the technician that walked us through everything we needed to know and couldn’t have been much more helpful. Buying from Ancira RV was a great experience and they should absolutely be anyone’s go-to dealer in the San Antonio area.”

“First-time experience at this restaurant for a work event. It is positioned within the Barton Country Club Resort campus so I never heard about it. I was very pleased with the staff service and quality of food. I had the rack of lamb and it was outstanding; perfectly cooked and tender. I would definitely go back now that I know of this place. They should do more marketing so more people . . . on second thought, don't! It's a nice little secret 🤫😏”

“They just reopened for day camp. My girls both loved all of the activities and had a great time. The pool is closed this summer, they are hoping to have it open next summer. We brought cooling towels and water bottles with misters and they were ok. The counselors have ice water to refill for them. Drop off and pick up was very easy, no lines.”

“My husband and I stayed a weekend at The Villas at La Cantera Resort & Spa for a firm retreat. The entire Resort is absolutely beautiful and well kept but The Villas was especially exceptional! While staying at the resort, you feel secluded even though you're still in the city. The views of the hill country are amazing and there are often deer wandering on the greens in the evening. All of the staff was extremely helpful and courteous as well. Even in the midst of a global pandemic, I felt safe staying here thanks to the efforts being made by all of the employees. My one and only complaint was that the water in the shower did not get anywhere near hot enough. The tub was amazing and the water there got super hot so I don't understand why the shower wouldn't. Even then, I can't wait to visit again!”

“This Home2 didn't seem quite as nice/well maintained as others I have visited, but not bad by any stretch. Enough to ding it one star. Rated service 5 but really that's just an 'NA' this trip. There was also a slight smell I was a bit sensitive to when I got there, I think cleaning product of some kind, and I stopped noticing it after an hour or so. Not a real issue, just mentioning it for those that might be concerned about that.”

“Very clean facilities. Free parking in the covered garage and easy walk to the conference rooms. Slightly cold rooms, so I kept my coat on. Hot water for tea. Hot coffee offered. Iced tea and water also provided. Conference room had rows with table seating, which was convenient for note taking. I could hear the presenters well. Enjoyed my visit for my business meeting.”
